I may have over looked it, but is there a guide on this somewhere? I don't really understand them entirely. Can you change them or remove them?

Depends what you mean by not understanding them exactly

Is it the mechanics of Inheritance? Blue vs Purple vs Green/ Vis vs Hidden vs Carried?
Restricted Traits? Mutators and Disruptors? What exactly Genes and Muts are?

For Changing, you can if
> it's a Gen1 Themed pet and you're using a Philter of Trait Disruption (Themed)

1. This will keep it's current trait point distribution (eg, Vis will remain vis, carries will remain carries) and swap them randomly for other traits (So an Epic theme that's G1 Vis, G2 Carry, M1 Carry will remain 1V/2C, but what those traits are will be randomly reassigned among all possible options (which includes the traits they already had). It could end up, for instance, G2 Carry, G3 Vis, M3 Carry.)

2. Majestic Themes will only shuffle amongst their own Restricted trait set (eg, Guardian Angel Griffi can only reshuffle from the four Galactic traits)

3. Pets that have been Disrupted to have a Restricted trait (covered below), they will lose that trait in exchange for a regular trait.

> Any pet that was not made via the Generator and which is not Majestic g1/PB can have a Restricted Trait Disruptor used on it, so long as

1. it is a viable Disruptor for the pet (Its own species, Valentines Lace, or Lucky Dust. You can't use an Aeri disruptor on an Aurleon)

2. The pet does not already have that trait in its genetics (Whether Vis, Hidden, or Carried). If it already has a trait from the trait set, it is inviable for use.

3. It has at least one Visible, non-Restricted trait (Carried traits and Restricted traits are inviable for replacement)

- The trait slot that is lost is random and does not correlate with the Restricted trait the pet gets, unless all other trait slots the Dirsuptor could fill have either Carried traits or Restricted traits of another set, as they cannot overwrite either of those things. If a pet has a single trait in G1, and no other traits, and the Restricted Disruptor is for a set that is G1, M1, M2, M3, the pet will lose the regular G1 and could get any of those four slots filled by the new Restricted trait.

For Adding/Removing
(note: A pet can only have a single Mutator used on it, and must be a Tamed pet)

> Philter of Nullification (1000 scales from the scale shop) can clear a trait slot of your choice. Not a Mutator.

> Lesser Genetic Mutator (1500 scales from scale shop) will add, at random either a Visible or Carried trait into an empty trait slot.

> Greater Genetic Mutator (200 diamonds from diamond shop) will add a single non-Restricted trait of your choosing to an empty trait slot.

> Lovely Mutator (only available during Festival of Love) will add Valentines Lace gene to your pet if that trait slot is viable (it can alternately add Lovely Hearts mutation, if the species has that trait and the respective slot is available)

> Lucky Mutator (only available during the Fortune Festival) will add Lucky Dust mutation to your pet if that trait slot is viable (it can alternately add Lucky Runes gene, if the species hasthat trait and the respective slot is available)
