Am I heard?
Am I heard,
Among the sea of voice,
Among the thunderous roar of society
when in truth
all I want is a plain of silence
Am I heard?
Among all the shouting voices
When my own is just a whisper?
Am I heard
by those around me
or am I shuned, forgotten, alone
Am I heard?
When I am just a shadow
among a forest of darkness
Am I heard?
I find sancuary in fantasy
yet cruely dragged into reality
Am I heard
when I cannot hear what is around me
through all the noise,
when I cannot see through all the problems
Am I heard?
