Okay granted I've only been here four days and this may just be because I didn't read something.

but in battle I've noticed that the people I'm against only attack my starter Sylesti Rohan? I have him in a party with Azalea but they hardly touch her and all of the damage is going to Rohan. They're only a level apart (she's 18 he's 19) and from the looks of it her attacks are actually more effective than his? (She's Shadow he's Earth)

I'm just trying to make sense of this because it's confusing me. Last battle his life was down by half but she was still at 100 and it just seemed odd.

Maybe because she is in your 1st slot. The 1st slot is for tank pet...The one that appears in 2nd from top to bottom while battling...

Ps: Technically you have 2 tank pet. She's a shadow pet...And Earth is also a tank...

Rohan would be more likely to be attacked by two points:
1- if he's in slot 1, that is, as stated by previous poster, the Tank pet slot. Enemies tend to aim for that slot more

2- he's an Earth pet. Earth pet's base attack can inflict a 1-turn Taunted debuff on the enemy, meaning they will aim for the pet that inflicted it on them until that debuff wears off.
