and I put the full amount of frosty fairy dusts on it-all the places were lit up and I had enough of the dusts for all the spaces-however only one fairy dust was used when I pressed sculpt. I think this is probably a bug? The stats don't really look right either (for only one dust to be used)

I'm only seeing one Dust used on that specific pet. I checked through the Database and did see others being able to use all 4 so I assume things are working properly.
If you'd like, I can just manually retroactively fix it for you assuming that you still have 3 Dusts in your Ice Sculpting Supplies.
