Hello (again) everyone.
I was just wondering how often you are supposed to get essences as drops. And also avatar items. Are there specific areas where they happen more or is it just a really uncommon thing?

Both avatar items and essences are rare and drop at random.
Certain essences drop from their species from nurturing or battling them. It's very rare and random.
Avatar items drop from certain areas from the certain monsters that wear them (ie myconids drop Myconid staves, nightfall bandits drop the nightfall clothes) at a very rare and random rate as well.
