Last night, I captured this Sylesti, but was able to do so without using a trap. I opened my Explore inventory, considered using a Masterful Snare Trap to catch her, then thought better of it and closed the inventory to continue the battle. She appeared in my stables anyway, and the Masterful Snare Trap is still in my Explore inventory.

I don't want to exploit a bug, but I do like the Sylesti and would like to keep her after all. In fixing this, is it all right to ask you to remove the trap from my inventory? That would balance the game for me and keep me from having a "free" pet.

Hm. Looking at the code, this should not have been possible. However, I could see how if somehow certain data got lost while computing it could have occurred. I adjusted the code so that this should definitely be impossible to happen again.

As far as your trap, since this was an error on our end, you should not be punished for it. So you can keep your trap and the pet.
