I'd like to gear up my team but haven't gotten any relics or armor yet. I bought a relic at their level but can't equip it to either one of them. I'm new, my team has two members, one level 9 and one level 10. I understand how to equip things, its just that the USE button doesn't light up for anything I have to use on them. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for any help.

You don't click on the use button to equip stuff to your pet. If you want to add an item to your pet, you click on the desired item and then click on the appropriate box. Hope that helped :3

Okay, so, when you're in the Equipment section of the Inventory, it has the first pet of your first stable below the items section.

You use the "Choose a Stable" and "Choose a Pet" dropdowns to select the pet you want to equip.

Once the pet has loaded, you will note the series of boxes below its image.

Click the equip you want, then click the respective one of the boxes beneath the pet (so, if it's a relic, you click the box labelled with "relic")

Basically the same to unequip or swap items. Unequip you just click the item in the pet's equips and then hit an empty equipment inventory slot, swap you hit one of the items you want to swap then the other.
