If I am offering breeding from my females and someone accepts... Who gets the egg?

I am wondering on the behalf of other players and myself... because it might be worth asking to breed a male to a female instead of the other way around if I knew I could get the egg when I requested the breed of the two pets.

My male + another player female = whose egg?

Whoever pays for the breeding is the one who gets the egg, regardless of gender. So if you put a female up for breeding and someone breeds with her (even if it's just 1 gold) they will keep the egg

Which is why you probably won't see too many females up for breeding. The only reason to "waste" a breeding opportunity without even getting an egg is if she's got good genetics and you can charge a lot for breeding her.
