Do genetic test show you carried traits or do you find out when hey are adults? Or if you don't do genetic tests does it show you the carried traits at all?

you don't get to see the carried traits when they're older
Genetic tests tell you all the traits (even the hidden "extra, extra" carried traits)
If you need one tested they're are people who do it for free in the "groups fourm"

Gene tests make no change to the pet/pet art/pet genetics, but reveal:
eggling;
> stats
> species if it was a found egg and thus not already known
> maturity hours counter
hatchling;
> mutation slots
> mutation slot colours
> carried traits
> hidden traits
> maturity hours counter
