ok I'm new and my first sylesti is still an adolescent and I was wondering (more like pulling my hair out in frustration...) when she would become an adult? she is 10 days old. does the "days" matter?

Hello, Welcome to Sylestia.
Your pet should become an adult by day 18. Check out this thread for a little more info about pet aging and a few other topics that you might find helpful. :)
Bred pets take a total of 26 days to become and adult
Caught gets take anywhere from 18-22 days to become adults, depending on the age at which they were caught (Adolescents take approx. 18 days, hatchlings take approx. 21-22 days)
Generated pets take about 18 days to become adults.
