I remember waaaaaaay way back when the Griffi first came out. At the time Battle Armor had the most complex designation of color of any trait in the game. Eye color for the gems and C2, C3, and M2 for the armor. 4 in total, which was apparently seen as being too much...

Subsequently, all broken pets have been fixed (was about 70 in total). -Griffies now have their own Eggling Art. -For the Stripes, Tips, and Spots on the Tails of Griffies, their color is now dependent on Mutation Color 1 instead of Color 3. -For Battle Armor, Color 2 is no longer used on the armor. It has been replaced with a darker version of Mutation Color 2. -For Double Stripes, the Eye Color was not displaying properly on Adults. This has been fixed. -Wrapped Presents from the Esior's Field's (Winter Festival) zone have been renamed to: Mysterious Present. -Mysterious Presents now have proper drop tables. -Titles will now be awarded to those who meet the criteria while Holiday Caroling.

I hated this change. It turned Battle Armor from my favorite mutation to my least favorite, and it completely squashed my first Griffi design idea of a white knight / black knight setup.

Why? Because there IS no way to get white armor. Even with everything being FFFFFF, the armor is GREY. White or pale colors for armor just isn't possible because half of the armor is made DARK.




Now, so many years later, we have AC1 and AC2, and on the Griffi those are even in use thanks to the Crystallized Restricted set. And I think Battle Armor could make use of it.

Majestic Regalia? Gorgeous. Druidic Essence? Gorgeous. Chained Jewelry? Stunning. Battle Armor..? >___< The grey just ruins it.
