When speaking as yourself instead of the character you are roleplaying, please put it in parenthesis.

You and your companions are in a carriage. Not one of the fancy ones, only the nobles of the Havens get to use those. Behind you is the Haven of Etherlia, about to be destroyed by the hordes of wraiths and ghouls that descended from the mountains. The forest around you is full of close trees who's branches cast shadows over the cart. You can hear the dying screams of people behind you. The driver of the carriage yells, and the horses break loose from their harnesses. Horrible slurping sounds can be heard from outside the carriage walls. Long claw-like fingers puncture the sides of the carriage. (you get to decide what you do now)

Mkuki held on to his sister, grabbing a spear. She likewise, armed herself, prepared for the worst. They did not know the other people in the carriage, but were ready to defend them. Ujasiri jumped out of the carriage, letting her arrows fly into the face of her foe. Her brother, mkuki, Threw a spear into the leg of the creature attacking them. He was slammed against a near by tree and Jacy naturally ran to his aid. She had made a mistake and put her bow down when she went to help her brother.

Ara grabbed her bow and got out of the carriage. She started letting arrows fly at any monster she could see. when out of the corner of her eye she saw a monster behind Ujasiri. Ara shot a creature behind Ujasiri and ran to help the two.

Mkuki coughed a little blood and with his sister's help, got back to his feet. He picked up a spear and covered them as they shot their arrows.

Ujasiri realized that she had put her bow down and picked it back up. She shot two more arrows into there attackers and yelled, "thanks!" to ara for helping them out.

I clambered out of the carriage and onto the ground below. I looked around at the attackers and then dashed to she shelter of a fallen tree. I sat there watching and waiting, looking to see if my help was needed otherwise I was going to stay out of the way.

*Fawn exited the carriage and looked around, checking to make sure nothing had gotten to close while they were fleeing the safe haven*

"Can you give us a hand?" she yelled to fawn who had just gotten out of the soon to be destroyed carriage. "ONE BEHIND YOU!" she shouted to fawn, letting one, two, no three arrows fly. each struk the enemy, and the enemy fell dead.

"arm yourself quickly!" mkuki demanded as the girl looked about her.

Saeynn was out of the carriage in a flash, her hands each holding one of her swords. She didn't wince as the arrows hit the enemies beside her, and instead ran to the enemies that were still coming. She moved with a strange feline grace- speed was her main asset when she was fighting, because she was so small. She spun the blades in her hands whenever she turned.

The enemy turned out to be a ghoul, a white, hunched over humanoid with long fingerlike claws. Their eyes were hollow and they only lived to try to quench their insatiable hunger for the living. The other enemies were some more ghouls, called to the battle by their fallen comrades wail as it died. A wraith had also shown up. They were undead humanoids with all of their skin and muscle gone. The lower half of their body seemed to swirl around in a tornado of black bones and dust. One of the ghouls howled, no doubt calling some of the other packs made up of ghouls and a wraith to lead them. It leaped at the wounded a Mkuki, smelling the blood and going into a rage. Another ghoul ran towards Fawn, who had her back turned. Its clawfingers extended to a foot in length and the ghoul slashed at Fawn. The wraith floated behind to other ghouls, its eyes flickering with a grey fire.

Mkuki was knocked onto his back and held there. He thrashed in attempts to get free, but was failing despite his resistance. His chest was in pain and he coughed a bit more blood. He shoved his spear vertically into the beast mouth, keeping it from advancing onto him and even further, keeping it from devouring him.

Ujasiri saw her brother on the ground, pinned by a ghoul and yelled "Ndugu, hakuna!" She released her arrows into the spine of the enemy who so violently attacked her brother. He had a massive claw mark in his chest.
