How do you add pets you made in the generator on a forum?
And why do my images when I make a image turn into a box?
Is there a way I can fix it?
Or am I using it wrong?
(top question is most important)

you can follow this guide
or you can take a look at the "How to get your image, Visual Guide" section of this guide
The most typical reasons are that a person is grabbing the wrong url (the page url instead of the image url) or that they're using the wrong IMG tag setup- given that you say you are getting boxes, it seems more likely it's a wrong url issue
< generator page url in img tags
(this pet image url looks like: https://www.sylestia.com/image_builder_pet.php?species=nytekrie&breed=sylesti&gender=male&gd1=EE&gd2=CG&gd3=NN&md1=NN&md2=EE&md3=NN&ec=44051b&c1=ea3e59&c2=fd6411&c3=f8cb39&gd1c=80042a&gd2c=c42103&gd3c=faf98e&md1c=fdcc39&md2c=de6308&md3c=f98e9f&ac=43051b&ac2=010107&maturity=648&costume=&unconscious=0&size=200&owned=1)

You but the wrong url, you can't make a generator pet clickable...
So you have to use the img one, not the img=
so it should be something looking like this [img*]https://www.sylestia.com/image_builder_pet.php?species=lunemara&breed=sylesti&gender=male&gd1=NB&gd2=NN&gd3=NN&md1=NN&md2=NN&md3=NH&ec=dc5233&c1=291d0d&c2=c98a4a&c3=270f0a&gd1c=d99a59&gd2c=ccc8ce&gd3c=ea5f12&md1c=9b270f&md2c=b75210&md3c=170e03&ac=613912&ac2=75430b&maturity=440&costume=0&size=250&owned=1[/img*]
and be careful then the brackets are at the right place, brackets are like squared parentheses or you can use the button at the top of your post.
Ps: Don't forget to take off the asterisk, asterisk are those things * the like little stars

Can you show me the code...Or maybe it's just your computer that doesn't like images and what kind of browser are you using...
In case you don't know, what is a browser (it's the web navigator, like Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft edge, Internet Explorer, etc)

That address looks very different from what it needs to be from what I can see... I can see stuff in there has nothing to do with the image URL like a title. Are you using the inspect to get it?
It would be useful if you posted both an attempt at an image and one with a * in the image tag to let us see what you're doing.
Please do look at the guide, on almost every browser I know you should be able right click and "copy image address" or "open image in new tab" and those will give you the correct addresses.

I was switching between my computers. Ones a HP ones a Dell. I was on a Dell and I think that I forgot a letter? (on HP I always use Edge)
Ill make a random sylesti..
Heres the code:
<img width="500" height="500" id="img_large" src="/image_builder_pet.php?ec=7DE255&c1=66ED72&c2=CA9DF0&c3=8394C8&ac=7C5F7F&ac2=222A65&gd1c=936D41&gd2c=7CFACD&gd3c=23576B&md1c=B0ABFD&md2c=3EE5FA&md3c=822C51&gd1=CC&gd2=AA&gd3=CC&md1=GG&md2=AA&md3=BB&species=faelora&gender=female&maturity=73">
I'll try now:

the code seem to be wrong, when you copy an image it is suposed to give somthing like that :
for an owned pet :
https://www.sylestia.com/image_builder_pet.php?species=ferrikki&breed=sylesti&gender=female&gd1=OO&gd2=NN&gd3=NN&md1=GG&md2=NN&md3=NN&ec=d13e75&c1=29252a&c2=805d5d&c3=56356a&gd1c=0c0c09&gd2c=960501&gd3c=f9f9ed&md1c=f4670a&md2c=851528&md3c=7b061f&ac=fdc905&ac2=436926&maturity=229&costume=0&size=250&owned=1
for a generator picture :
https://www.sylestia.com/image_builder_pet.php?ec=FFBB00&c1=054D00&c2=91633A&c3=000000&ac=000000&ac2=FFB5CB&gd1c=000000&gd2c=86FF7D&gd3c=23911C&md1c=CC2B2B&md2c=054D00&md3c=CC2B2B&gd1=FF&gd2=GG&gd3=FF&md1=II&md2=00&md3=BB&species=lupora&gender=male&maturity=216&size=150
Depending of the computer you may not nead to copy the url, try to simply copy the picture. If it work it will be visible in your prevew

That is a web element, not a url like we are saying. That is the code that tells the webpage how to get the image and that doesn't work in the image tag. In fact because it uses a shortened version of the url (starting at /image_builder) it is not a good way to do things even if you removed all the extra information.
Looking at a guide for Edge you need to right click and choose the "copy" option. Do not click copy picture.
Edge is not a very intuitive or easy to use browser. but good luck.
