I've caught at least 2 pets for sure but they are no where to be found and the nets gone too. I definitely didn't kill them. I had 8 pets in my stable could it be that??? I'm so confused

It's most likely that the pets ran away from the fight, if they aren't in your Stables.
Outcomes of using a Trap are:
> Success. Pet is added to the Stables, link to pet's page is provided in the Battle log
> Failure. Pet remains, the battle continues.
> Failure. Pet flees the fight. Battle will end if it was the sole opponent.
