That's actually a Giu bone, and he's chewing on it. There's actually a lot of in-game lore about it, but to save time for both of us, it's basically a bone-shaped toothpick xP

Alrighty! Here's how you get payment from someone;
1. Go to your inventory.
2. Find a worthless tradeable item, like a fairy mushroom or weak gear, and select it.
3. Click the little envelope that lights up beneath your inventory; when you roll over it, it should say 'Mail item to player.'
4. Enter my username and CoD fee, which in this case is 40000.
5. Profit! Literally!
