Ok so I have two Qitari a male and female. Both of them have Gene 3: (CC)Rainbow Mane and when I put the two in the Breeding grounds and test breed them it looks like all of their babies should hatch out to have rainbow Mane also....
but I've breed the pair twice now and both the babies have hatched out with Tri-Color mane instead...???

Am I doing something wrong...is there something I am missing?

Lol, they cute babies, but I was hoping at least one would inherit Rainbow Mane from the parents

I will link pictures of the parents and babbens, let me know if you have any tips tricks? ...maybe i should just keep breeding?

The problem is that neither of the pets have been genetically tested so you aren't able to see hidden genes. Pets can have hidden carries under their visibles e.g CF
In this case both pets must have G3 as CD( as D is tri-colour mane)
As D is more recessive the probability of getting babies with vis tri-colour mane is only 25% so you were very unlucky lol

Do I need to send the pets to you to get them tested?
sorry i just don't know these things, i know some of my pets are getting pretty high level from all the festival stuff i've done XD but I'm still pretty new to the game really, so I'm not sure how everything works yet?

Sure, just sell them to me for 1g and i will test them before returning them. At the moment though I can only take 4 at a time due to stable space. My user ID is 118207
