Has anyone else read (or watched, I suppose) the Maze Runner series? I need someone who's finished the Death Cure to cry with.

Same... I've re-read it many times. But I'm an idiot because each time I read TDC I'm like, It'll be better this time. I won't cry. But I'm always wrong. And I practically never cry over books. Scream, throw it, hug it, yes, but not cry over it... you?

I cry almost every time I re-read it, partially because I know it's basically the end of the line for them, and mostly Teresa.
Also the first book makes me cry because beginnings after you've been to the end are sad.

I really did not like Teresa... *shoves her to the Grievers*
I mean, I feel like Thomas does not deserve her - he is good and loyal and would not betray her like she did him, even if he was TOLD it was for a good reason. The end does not justify the means. WICKED is not good.
But I mean, that is just my opinion. When they return to the Maze, though... I cried. They spent all that time trying to get out... but once they did escape, they realized life was better back in the Glade, Grievers and all.

I agree. WICKED wasn't good. There was just too much bad that they did. It completely outweighed the good that they could have done.
And yes, I know that nothing Teresa did was good, but it's still a little sad.

Either Alec from TKO or Brenda.
What about you?

Newt forever. I flat-out refused to use glue in class the other day. One of my friends pretty much lost it (she's a fangirl) and the other one looked at the two of us like we had gone insane (she's not). I love him so much. He has such a terrible, horrible end that he does absolutly nothing to deserve, and is the greatest person EVER, I don't care that he's fictional. He has the most complexity and detail to his character and personality he's as real as any actual person in that regard, and any except... well, he's not...
I've tried to read TKO so many times but I just can't get into it. I mean, I have to force myself to read any more than about five pages. In my mind, it's badly written, drags uselessly on, and has practically no point in the overall plot. I know it has crucial events, but it didn't need to be turned into an entire book. It's dull and it breaks my heart to say how bad it is, considering the first three plus TFC are the best books in the world. Of course, that's only my opinion.
