Is there a guide to price pets? I see the prices vary, but does their genes and mutations make them more valuable? I know purebred pets are typically more expensive than non-purebred, but what about themed? I have so many questions, so I'm sorry for asking all of them, but the marketplace to me doesn't have a rhyme or reason, it seems the only way to make any sort of gold is to explore the World Map and maybe land on a chest or two.

You can use the trade broker for equipment you will not need at some point...Ps: When you can enough gold try to get purple or orange gear...But blue can work for now...:) But check the average price and try to be under it or no one will buy your stuff...

Themed it depends on the species. I think...So I don't even know myself I just judge with the advanced search...But I do think fabled species (Aerdini, Ferriki (Lost grove only except while festival can be brew, sculpted(?) or etc. Griffi (only available during the winter festival), Lighira (only available during summer fest), Nephi (only in one zone, Astry'l Vales, Ny'venes (only obtainable in the Arena of Ethernia) and Ryori (only available during fall festival).

Note: Puffadore are not fabled, but can only be found in Ethernia

So I'm not the best...To this...Most people will just say go with what you think is good. :)

Usually pricing of pets is totally up to you, but people will buy them if they have more reasonable prices. I usually charge more for lots of traits and appealing colors, but if they don't sell within a month I will often give them out free (1 gold).

Personally, I think the best ways to make gold are doing missions and exploring the fest zones. Missions take a while (several hours), but require no effort on your part other that clicking a few buttons and waiting. The fests zones have chests full of good drops (including up to around 2, 000 gold and festival currency), and If you find and capture any themed pets you can sell those for good money too.

Sell the themed pets for whatever you want, but my advice is to wait until AFTER the fest. They are worth much more gold when you can't capture them wild anymore :)
