The time is 1901, near the end of July. Last week the first good caravan of settlers came in, bunch of families looking to make their home in this little valley of ours. Seems these days everyone wants to live out west, wanting to be a part of this so call Wild West. Ain't seen anything wild around here save for a few animals, maybe a group of outlaws. So far this little town's been rather quiet, only a few drunken brawls but nothing more. That was until last night. A group of cattle ranchers lost their whole herd, thieves made off with them in the night no doubt. Makes my job difficult, having to track down outlaws and keep the rest of the town in check. Sometimes I wonder why I became the sheriff.... First things first though...

"Funny, I'm the sheriff here in Sunset."

"That stark white mare there is Maribel, she's my faithful steed and nothing will change that. She does tend to be a bit stubborn when it gets cold though."

"Dorian Pavus, I get called Banker a lot though even though I'm not officially the banker."

"Money, and counting seems lost in these parts. I plan on changing that and bringing some wealth back into the pockets of the settlers."

"Well I can read and write, I also know how to pick a bar fight and win it. What you thought I was useless? I will have you know I'm a hell of a shot with a hunting rifle."

"Not a word of them, I wont speak of them until they apologize and change their thinking on where I plan on taking my life."

"I wanna help keep the stables up an' runnin'. It's a shame that they're aren't enough horses for the entire town to have as companions, and of course at the stables we can breed better horses. I would also love to help out with those pesky bandits if allowed."

"Got any skills?":
"Horseback riding, and calming down the horses. They get kinda nervous sometimes but I'm sure they can help with the Sheriff and his rounds. People call me an animal whisperer. Also doesn't hurt to know how to use a revolver, eh?"

"I haven't got much family, just my Ma, Pop, and my little sister Anna. My sister is only eighteen and she works at the Inn. My Ma loves to stay home and work around the house but also comes to help with the horses often. Pop's gonna retire and I get the stable next. I love them very very much."

"Stable Master. Lookin' after the horses is what I love to do."

"This here horse is Beth. She's old but she's still got fire. And we have a mutt dog too. His name is Colby and he's mighty loyal to Beth and I. I may only be 27 but I know how to run a place."
