Is it like posting a link on the forums? I didn't want to try it out so the coding doesn't clog up the chat if I'm wrong

when you post links in Region Chat, you just paste the link in the text box. no coding or anything, just simply paste it :)

It should be noted:
> Only sylestia links become links
> Pet and avatar image urls are too long and will be cut off, rendering the image code useless (it'll get the species and traits, but because the colours and maturity get cut off it'll appear as a white eggling)
> Links from other sites will not make links, and it is incredibly difficult to highlight text in the region chat to copypaste from it
Basically, pet page links, forum links, regular sylestia page links, user-page links, stable/hatchery links, all work because they're a) sylestia links, and b) short enough to fit in the region chat's textbox
