Ive only gotten two (the one i have on and it without boots) and I dont know where you get others? I cant buy from the diamond shop because I cant get diamonds and at the trade broker theyre all so expensive! Can I get them another way and how do I do that? What does 'explore item' or whatever mean? Where do I get the ones that have the gold icon on them?

For what the symbols mean:

Explore items are ones you find out while exploring, such as random monster drops, boss drops, wandering merchants.
The gold symbol means you can buy them somewhere, such as the town markets
Diamond symbol means they can be bought from the diamond shop
Forum game items can only be gotten playing official forum games (and eggling auctions)
Holiday Event items can only be obtained during a holiday
The calendar symbol is for monthly avatar items, which are only sold for one month.


Also! There's going to be a fall event taking place very soon (near the end of October). Expect there to be a LOT of new items around that time, when you can get during the event.
