The Battle of Iyrath
ON HIATUS (SLOW RESPONSES)
Iyrath was heaven on earth. There was no other place where elves, faeries, humans and dwarves could live safely, far away from the disruption of war and the shade of Morthon that wandered in the surrounding landscapes. The land was flowing of milk and honey, and your childhood was a bright one, unhaunted and peaceful. You learned skills of survival from the best warriors and magicians, and found your own special element. You were prepared to live a happy, sound lifestyle of teaching when you grew older.

Then the Reaper took the throne.

Paethos was a cruel and harsh ruler, and despite his faerie heritage, his heart was cold. Morthon had taken control of Iyrath through his hands, and if they are not stopped, there will never be a haven for your species again. Morthon had always vowed to hunt down all of you, to turn you all into servants of her word. She knows that most of your kind would be too scared to rebel. What she doesn't know is that you are one of the chosen. You must find the other five. But first, you need to get out of the hopeless kingdom in one piece.

Can you survive? It is up to you, player, to tell your story...

~~~
Narrator's Words:
This game is a single player ---> Multiplayer game, with everyone starting off as individuals and (hopefully) ending up together as a team of many players against Paetheos and Morthon.
Rules
1) You must ping and bold/quote every time. There is a three warning policy on this rule (Unless you have told me you can't beforehand)
2) I control what you see and what happens. You cannot suddenly find a secret passage and teleport out of the town.
3) No Mary/Gary Sues. Your character must have flaws.
4) Your character must be at least 16 years of age.
5) In your sign ups, include your character's favorite food
6) I have every right to deny or kick you out of the RPG.
7) If you do not reply for 3 days, you will have a warning message. If you have not replied for more than 7 days, you will be removed from the game and your spot will reopen. (Unless you have told me why you will be inactive previously. If I have not replied to your ping within two days, reping me.)
8) Be creative with your character! I don't want everyone to be an elf with the light element. We have to have one character per species for the chosen team.
9) Spirits are randomly generated by me! However, you can have one request for your spirit. Please do not complain.
10) You can be defeated or even die. It is up to you to survive.
11) No hybrids. If you have an animal character I will be forced to reject them.
12) Your character will be alone in the beginning. No partners/other chosens will be near you. It is up to you to find your companions, though you CAN observe their story to see where they are. DO NOT ask me where your partner is. I cannot answer.
13) PLEASE DO NOT reserve spots for the chosens. They are a first come first serve role. YOU CAN reserve spots for the partners.
14) Follow the rules!
15) Have fun~
Species
Light Elves
Light elves are creatures that value peace and unity above all other things. Living in the warm, half floating region of Galanoris, they are the most ministerial and organized species, with their own government system in their region. They were one of the first to bend to Paethos's will in order to keep the peace. Their hair comes in all natural colors except for black, with most hair colors having warm tones. The letter R is important and repeated throughout their names. They are exceptionally intelligent and skilled in agility and magic, as well as being particularly quick perception, making them perfectly suited for the Moon and Fire elements.
Dark Elves
Dark elves are the most democratic species who value justice as the most important. Raeth Elunore is their home, nested in an underground sanctuary. They carry fairly bad reputations as they are aggressive and aloof, as well as the last to bend to Paethos's will because they valued their own justice as more important. Their hair comes in all natural colors except for red, with most hair colors having cool tones. The letter R is important and repeated throughout their names. They are generally well rounded but have special buffs in agility and combat as well as having high self control, making them perfectly suited for the Air and Water elements.
Nature Faeries
Nature Faeries are gentle creatures that value the equality and care of all. They live in the lush woodlands of Edeolyn, and are free spirits with little organization in their society. They worship the nature goddess Feronia. They carry neutral reputations as they are conserved and don't communicate to others much, though they are always happy to help anyone in need. Some Faeries have wings, though they can only fly for short distances and prefer walking or riding animals. They were one of the first to bend to Paethos's will because they valued the benefits of their own kind to make sure they would survive. They are more of healers than battlers; having buffs in herbalism, craftsmanship and caring, making them perfectly suited for the Sun element (Although they are also closely tied to nature, so the Earth element would also work relatively well).
Soul Faeries
Soul Faeries are notoriously known as pranksters, and they value happiness and freedom above all things. They live in a spirit realm named Claetara, and they are free spirits with little organization in their society. They worship their ancestors, whom they believe have been incarnated into luminescent plants and such. They carry neutral-to-bad reputations as they are (again) pranksters who love a good joke. Some Faeries have wings, though they can only fly for short distances and prefer walking or riding animals. They were forced to bend to Paethos's will when he defeated them in battle. They are masters of disguise and magic, making them perfectly suited for the Moon elements. (Though they would also master the air element fairly well due to their agility boosts).
Dwarves
Dwarves are hard workers who are masters of craftsmanship. They value community and enlightenment above all, and strive to do the most righteous things. They carry a good reputation because of their willingness to help others. They are fairly short creatures. They have a fairly organized patriarchal government system in their underground city of Daelin, and were one of the last to bend to Paethos's will because his rule seemed sadistic and terrifying in their eyes. They are also good fighters, (Much less of healers, however) which makes them most suited for the Fire element. (Though earth or water would also work fairly well.)
Humans
Humans aren't particularly skilled at anything, and that is one of the reasons they are the most powerful. They are the most ambitious of the species, valuing self achievement as their most important goal. They live in the castle of Erewin, and have a fairly organized government system, though mutinies happened often. They were very torn between whether or not to bend to Paethos's will and eventually were just forced to. Humans vary in appearance and skill (Yes, if you choose human you get to assign your own buffs) and are suited for nearly every element with the notable exceptions of sun and moon as they are not skilled in magic.
Salt
A support type. You can touch water to collect salt and this, if consumed, will give a buff of some sort. Salt can also be used to attack if necessary and makes it hard to swim or breathe underwater for those who are not your allies.
Spirits
Important information about Spirits
Spirits are reincarnations of some of the beings killed by Morthor. They have two forms: Hybrids and Animals. The Hybrids are their usual forms, in which they are able to talk with their master. In their animal form, they are more powerful and are able to fight other spirits or most living things. In Hybrid form, they are only able to be seen by their masters.
Spirit Fighting
Spirits are relatively good fighters when in animal form, and are ranked from one to five stars. The more your spirit fights with you, the more powerful they get, and their star rating goes up. Spirits do not have elements, but they will be able to possess some of the fighting characteristics of their animals.
