"How well can you swim," Selkie asked.

Skipper growled and looked at Locke, "I am not asking you sink them just slow them down or turn them around."

"Well enough. I don't think you have to worry about me drowning." Kaladin assured him.

The collie nodded. "Aye, Ah'll do tha'." He replied, messing with the wind around the two oncomming ships.

"You start swimming then and I'll follow." Selkie said.


Skipper started using the cannons again and fired at both ships.

Kaladin nodded, and dove in. Once he got himself above water, he began swimming to shore.

Selkie watched Kaladin and used his powers to help Kaladin along and protect him from the attacks. Selkie dived in himself the chains wieghing him down but he swam with all of his strength and caught up with Kaladin.

The echidna was panting by the time he reached shore. He let out a tired sigh and pulled himself into a sitting position.

Selkie's chains got caught on a rock and he fought to get them free.

Kaladin watched from the shore, concerned. "Are you alright?" he called.

"Stuck." Selkie managed and broke the rock which he ended up having to drag along. Selkie made it to shore panting and laid down to rest for a while on the beach, "We need to help if we can." He whispered.

"Not until we get those off." Kaladin said sternly, gesturing to the chains.
