I've only recently come across this site, before Sylestia i was playing pony island so some things were easy to figure out myself with how this works but there are a lot of differences, so any and all advice is needed and definitely some friends as well! my current question is how do you get "essence" for generating. and how does trading and breeding with other players work? (had a trial account on PI so i was never able to trade or breed with other players) oh and how do you get diamonds?

For diamonds either you buy it with real money or use the currency exchange things..Also, you don't really need them. For real you can always ask people do genetically test for you and they do it for free that's mean 1 gold by sylvestis. ;)

But for trading either you use the broker system just click on an item and click on the broker system.
But if you want to do a private trade you have to click on the item and then the little envelope.

Also, you can split stacks by doing the following. Click on the item and hold shift then click on an empty inventory spots. You can only split stacks on a destkop/laptop, no phone no tablet

to get essences you can either go to the trade broker and buy some or you can neuter pets and there's a small change you will get a essence

Ok so CoD trades are where you pick a tradable item in your inventory and send it to a specific person via the little envelope under the inventory right? i looked for a post about it in player guides but it wasn't explained with that much detail, though i suppose the post was helpful because i was able to figure out the rest on my own.
