can you put stacks together? I know you can split them but can you combine them if they are the same item

yes, let's set some fairy mushrooms as an example :D
select a fairy mushroom in your inventory, then click on another mushroom somewhere else in your inventory....then boom!! you have 2 mushrooms in a stack!! but wait, another mushroom? just slam it in your already existing mushroom stack :D
