Spoilers ahead?? Maybe??
I, like the cautious idiot I am, decided to wait out at the bandit camp rather than search for clues. As scripted, the sheriff is dead. I feel like I've missed out on a bunch of lore along with extra quests and all that. Is there any way to reset? At all? If there's not I'll get over it in time but I'd just like to know if it's possible. It'll be a pain starting over all those quests but I'm happy to do so at this point.

I believe you may need to talk to Krin... However, I accidentally said the wrong thing to Cirith once, and had to level up a lot more to be able to fight him and beat him. Maybe you just need to get stronger. I would suggest that you check the barracks. The Sheriff might still be there, because barring someone from quests sounds a bit off...

Don't worry, you are not missing out on any peart of the story. If anything, you just skipped some normal battles, but posibbly not even that. If you really still want to start again, PM Krinadon, though I do not know if he will let you.
