Hello all! I just joined a few hours ago actually, and I stumbled upon the summer festival and got a catalyst for the sandbox and then added a pearl. It says you have to add other items to help create the sylesti but what items do I need to add because all I've seen are the items that fix if it's broken, soaked, etc and the additives.

I'm also looking for some info on this. Do we know what the different genes are on the catalyst pets? Is there a list showing possibilities somewhere?

Sand Sculpting items:

Catalysts:
What you use to determine what theme the pet is going to be. Required to start sculpting.
You can find the images of the old Sand Sculpting themes returning from last year in post 5 and 6 of this thread (it should later have the themes from this year, but until then, you can see the new theme colour sets by looking at the Leaderboard Contests*, which shows all new themes save the three as-yet unreleased new majestic themes)
(*the leaderboard contest's images are for display of the themes, and the traits and genders they have are non-indicative of the traits you get if you win on the boards)

Pearls:
Mundane, Golden, Prismatic
> cause the sculpted pet to be 1, 2, or 3 vis respectively.
> 2carry, 1vis, and 2vis if the catalyst is for a Majestic theme.
> A higher level pearl can overwrite a lower level pearl, but lower level pearls cannot overwrite higher level ones

Sculpting Agents:
Block of Sand, Vial of Seawater, Essence of Sun
> Used to care for/speed the progression of sculptures. Using them on other people's sculptures gives you rewards.
Deformed = Sand
Cracked = Water
Soaked = Sun
> Quick Drying Agent, when applied to a sculpture, causes it to skip the 'cooldown/Good' status so Agends can be used continuously.

Coating:
Blue, Pink
> used to choose a gender for pet if so desired.
Blue = male
Pink = female

Siren Tears:
Used to boost stats. A pet can be boosted a total of 4 times.

Sea Pebbles:
Allow you to pick a slot that you want to fix, so the resulting pet will definitely have a trait from that slot.
The amount of slots that can be fixed matches the amount of vis traits the pet will have
Mundane pearl = 1 use of sea pebbles etc.

Enriched Sand:
Causes the pet to have a definite Hidden trait (that is, a trait hidden under one of the visible traits. It does not change the TP count granted by the pearls at all.)
Like Sea Pebbles, amount you can use matches pearl type, but you cannot choose which slot it adds the Hidden to if you used a golden or prismatic pearl and only one/two Enriched Sands.
The only way you can

What Traits?:
Sculpted pets are exactly like regular non-generated pets in terms of what traits they have- that is, random.
Though you can select what slot they will get a trait in, unless that trait slot only has two traits in it (discounting Restricted traits (See: Nytekrie M1 and M3, Faelora M2 and M3)) and you've also used Enriched Sand (which would make the Hidden trait the second possible trait in that slot, forcing the vis to be the first option), it will be random

Majestic pets will always only have traits from their respective Restricted set, though.

As an example, here are some Tidepool Lighs we made last year who we used Golden Pearls on, then Pebbles to select G3 and M2:

As you can see, though they all had the same trait slots fixed, they certainly don't look alike
