"See? Nothing to be afraid of!" The red haired man exclaimed as he walked through the dark forest. Beside him, a petite blonde punched his shoulder with a scowl on her face.
"We can't just go wandering around the forest at eleven in the night! No one knows we're gone. And we might have been friends for four years but I don't trust you because of stuff like this." Her blue eyes were narrowed as she began to speak, her hands planted on her hips dramatically. "There's actually a lot to be afraid of! Like, um..."
"Snakes. Random people who may be dangerous. Other wild animals. Snakes. Have I mentioned snakes?" Another blonde girl beside them spoke up. Her straight, pale hair tossed around in the light night time breeze. A small smile danced on her lips. "I believe I have." She leaned her head on the shoulder of the young man whose arm was slung over her shoulders, and the pair made eye contact. He smiled back at her.
"Aura, stop hitting Aitan. Kian, Cerina, you two lovebirds need to fly off somewhere else." A third woman chuckled, flipping her dark hair over her shoulder. She was walking behind them carefully, grinning.
The redhead who had been punched smirked. "Yeah Aura. Stop hitting on me."
"Aitan, Darya's right- stop talking like a five year old and start acting your age." Kian spoke up. "You're eighteen for goodness' sake!" Darya nodded her head in agreement.
Before Kian could reprimand him any further, Aura let out a gasp. The whole group turned to see her sitting on a tree stump in the clearing they had stopped in. The clearing had a few tree stumps scattered around, and if counted, one would see that there were exactly five.
"What is it this time?" Aitan asked, chuckling. He strolled over to her side, looking down at her. She glared right back up, trying to fight a smile. After a few seconds she remembered the reason she had gasped-
"Oh, right. I, uh, I can't get up."
"Drama queen."
"I'm being serious Aitan. Like, I know I didn't snag my shorts or something, I literally cannot freaking get up. I don't know whats wrong but- why the heck are those three sitting down on the tree stumps?" Aura raised an eyebrow, but her eyes held a panicked expression. Darya, Cerina, and Kian had gone to sit on a few other tree stumps, and were now chatting. "There's something wrong with the stumps."
"Just get up. Pranking is my thing, remember?" He seemed to be getting a bit annoyed.
"Hilarious. And I told you. I. Can't. Get. Up."
"A tree stump didn't do anything to you!" He threw his hands up. "See, watch- I'll go sit on that one there and I'll be fine." He walked through the leave towards another tree stump beside her and then sat down on it. He rolled his eyes at her.
"Don't do it Aitan- you idiot!" A string of curse words escaped her mouth. Aitan tried to get up, and unsurprisingly, was unable to.
"What?"
Before he could say anything else, a low hum coursed through the trees. Kian, Cerina, and Darya, who had also just now tried to get up, had their panicked cries silenced. Aura tried to speak, but the words wouldn't make a sound. She felt her eyes water as the hum became a rumble, and then a roar. Black spots danced in her vision until suddenly...

Five friends disappeared in 1975- and no one knows where to or how. It's now the year 2020, and most people have forgotten about or don't know about the disappearance of the teenagers. They aren't alive... but they aren't dead either. They've become spirits of some sort, and have immense power.
When a dark force rises, these spirits must stop it from overtaking the world by using their control over the elements they each represent.
Problem- they have no way of moving. Solution- they need hosts, or a body to carry them That's where you come in. You're in high school, and you have no idea what's about to happen to you.
You have no idea that you have to save the world.

Appearance: Despite the frown in the picture, she typically is smiling. Her hair falls just past her chest. Her eyes are the greenish grey shown below. Diana stands at five feet and two inches. Her build is athletic, but a bit lean too because she used to be a gymnast.

Playful and free-spirited, Xyniu seems like he came straight out of a cheerful bedtime story, always present with a grin on his face, revealing slightly crooked teeth. He gets along well with other people, even if he is super annoying, he manages to get people to like him right away, or crawls under their skin and becomes endearing to them at some point or another.
Xyniu can be quite mischievous, "borrowing things" or playing pranks every now and then in the name of fun. He quite values his freedom, and when someone stands in his way and he highly disagrees with it, or when it's needed, he can turn somewhat... Sadistic, completely destroying someone who thought he was harmless, all with a smile on his face in the meanwhile.
But that doesn't happen very much, and he's generally a happy person.
Appearance:
Standing at 164 cm, the average for his age, Xyniu doesn't particularly stand out right away. This coupled with a fairly scrawny build gives off the impression of an un-athletic and introverted boy, although that isn't necessarily the case.
Xyniu's head is covered with messy brown hair that like his stature, doesn't stand out very much. His hair is usually sticking out like a permanent bedhead, but when forced to be brushed down, can become tame and proper-looking.
His eyes are of a bright forest green, dancing with life like a jungle. His big eyes are framed by long eyelashes, that is, by a male student's standard. A spray of light freckles mark his face, blending in well enough that you'd need to take a good look at him in order to notice.
Xyniu's fashion is "whatever idc" and often times, he'll just wake up in the morning, reach into his closet, and wear whatever he grabs and goes along with it.

Though when she does befriend you, and she probably will, she may calm down and match her personality to help you feel comfortable in her presence. Nadette is 5'5, she is on the chubby side, yet she doesn't mind and prefers to flaunt her body. She is pale with chin-length, wavy hair, it is the color of a rich, dark chocolate. Although her cuddly stature, she is quite strong and her punch would probably knock you out. Her eyes are a deep, forest green and she always wears a bracelet that her mother gave to her. Her clothing consists of a lot of summer clothes for most of the year, always being really hot.

She grew up in Russia, in the northern parts of the world. Nadette's mother died during childbirth (For her little bro) when she was six, and her mother gave her a bracelet with the word "" (google translate, sorry), Or, Little Bear on it. it was given to her on Nat's previous birthday before she died. The Babins moved from Russia to where they live now and they haven't moved since.

Rowen is harsh and cold, and often quite mean. She has hardly any friends, or at least to other's point of view. To hers, she has hundreds: her books and all the characters in them. Rowen is fierce and angered easily, but her anger isn't a burning fury like some - hers is an icy calm, a terrifying, cold, clarity. She is more than quiet, though she isn't shy, she doesn't speak unless she has to, a sort of self-enforced muteness. She trusts no one, and answers to no authority but her own. If it's OK, Shayni, she it the only one at all who knows about the teenagers who went missing all those years ago.

Her parents divorced when she was twelve, and her official school education ended there. She moved back and forth between her disturbed, weepy mother, and her andrg, abusive father. She often carried cuts and bruises from his anger. She occasionally attended school when she felt like it, but practically lived in the city library, sometimes even sleeping there overnight. The staff knew her story and permitted it, since librarians are nice people, and she considered the library to be her home. She grew up there and around town, doing various jobs to earn money. Many people know her, but being the haughty, cold person she is, Rowen hhasn't othered to really get to know anyone.
