I am so incredibly excited for them. I wound up staying up so late because my first egg was so close to hatching. Now I have to brag.
My first breeding, and their hatchling is gorgeous. I'm keeping him forever and ever, I'm certain.
And I got these three from wild eggs:
Those two Nixi are positively ugly. They hatched and I started giggling and I'm still giggling. But look at them! The second has banded stripes as a visible trait, and I am hoping very hard that the first has a mutation. And those colors! I actually love those colors, just maybe... not arranged like that. When they grow up, I'll have enough Nixis with traits to breed a pretty sort of green-blue creature with five visible traits, without even paying to breed with someone else. [Edit: only four vis traits, because some of them overlap. But still! I have at least one nixi growing, as yet!]
And that Bulbori! I am not a fan of the species as a whole, but do you see how beautiful those colors go together? With those tiger stripes? I had no idea what would come out of that egg at all. But she is fantastic!
I've got four more eggs that are getting close to hatching. Two of them were gifted to me, and since they were bred, I have some idea of what they might look like based on their parents. One of them was bought from the scale shop, the most expensive one with a nice egg color I could find, so hopefully expensive scale-shop egg is a good thing? And the other egg is wild, so I have no clue what it may turn out to be either. If they turn out, I might just post them here, too!
