Welcome to...
Lenore's Elusive Art Thread

I. Introduction & Examples

I have been incredibly unproductive as far as digital painting goes...at least for the past few years. Mostly corresponding with the time I've been away from Sylestia.

But I'm back now, and hoping to make up for lost time.

One of the last works I made for Keanai before I took my hiatus from Sylestia

For Neyite

II. Commission Details

At this point in time I'm looking to complete large-scale, detailed, fully-developed digital paintings. I rarely put them out, and that needs to change! These tend to take quite a few hours of work for a polished final product, so I am unlikely to take more than a couple at a time. I'll draw just about anything, except NSFW commissions.

That being said, I'd love to work with you all to make your ideas come to life. I like to follow up through every stage of the painting process, so we both end up happy with the final product.
(Some older, quicker, sketchier examples can be found in this thread)

My public design and art links are available by private message upon request!

III. Payment (Eww Right?)

While I haven't quite sorted out what the final payment scale will be, I'm leaning towards 500k-1m+ (or current diamond rate equivalent) per finished work depending on time spent and details included. This includes thumbnail sketch previews and multiple updates. Payment isn't required/due until after the work is finished, but before you receive the full-res image.

If you'd like to work out a payment plan with me, I'm happy to do so.

Why so expensive? I intend to put, at minimum, 15-20 hrs of work-time into each piece. Hopefully after all is said and done, we can both be satisfied with the resulting piece.

Tentative Payment Scale
(to be implemented after my first two commissions are complete):

- Thumbnail Sketches for Composition Purpose: 15k for 3 + 5k per additional
- Refined Line-Art and Detail Check: 50k + 20k per round of adjustments
- Referential Shading for Final Piece: 50k
- Final Work: 600k + 100k per extra figure painted in detail

Approx. Total: 715k+

IV. Rules

I don't have many, truly. I just ask that my images not be sold for profit, or posted without crediting the artist (if you have questions about how to credit me, I'm happy to answer!). If you'd like to use them for any non-commercial purpose, feel free. I don't even mind you editing them, or using bits and pieces for your own works (if credited of course).

I reserve the right to use any and all final images in my own promotions, or sales, provided the user commissioning the piece is not paying in USD or negotiating otherwise.

V. Waiting List

If there's enough demand, I'll post a waiting list, but I can make no promises on how long it will take to get to you while I'm working with one or two people on their pieces.

Current:
1. Eustoma
2. -

Wait List:
None

Completed:
1. Neyite

With all that done and out of the way, the thread is now open! ^^

Can I have my dog

and my cat

in a picture together?
My dog died before my cat who disappeared was born so they never met each other. Which means that I don't have a picture with them together in it.

Hey! Can you try turning my bearded dragon, Link, into an actual dragon? Like keeping her colors and adding wings and other more dragon-y features? I hope this makes sense.

This video is compiled from screen recordings from the sketch phase to the most recent detail work. It is a long video; I highly recommend watching on wi-fi if you plan on viewing. To anyone who does watch, thank you for taking the time to do so!

Would you ever consider doing a sketch with color for 50k? I can't afford such good paintings ;-;

I have no idea what your more comfortable with, female or male humans?

I've still got a couple projects I'm trying to find time for. I'd consider it in a few weeks if I manage to get some other stuff done.
