During battles, I can't select any of the attack options. Literally all I can do is skip my turns until my party is defeated, every single time. I have used a Mana potion because I thought that was why I couldn't use them but even when I used it I still couldn't select anything. And I have hardly any gold so I can't really buy any new Mana potions, then there's also no quests/missions etc. when I look around trying to find them.

I'm literally stuck. I have been for about a year and a half and that's why I'm rarely active. I've looked through the forums and honestly the small text against the bright screen is hurting my eyes, please help...I feel dumb...

After you select the attack option you need to select which enemy you want to attack. You probably forgot to do that since you have been away for quite a long time.

None of the pets in your current party have an element/proficiency assigned, which might be the problem.

Ah, you're right. I'm so sorry, I feel really dumb, especially since I actually figured that out immediately after I posted the thread /.-

In my defense, I feel like I would have tried that at SOME point in 18 months haha- I think it might have been attuning too because none of my party pets were attuned to an element.

No worries. That's understandable since you had been a way from this game for quite a long time. I took quite a long break myself and when I came back I didn't aware that I needed to reattuned my pets' elements and stats again and was wondering why it was so hard to beat 1 normal mob in the last area. Took me a few deaths until I realized all my stats and proficiency were resetted. lol
