I've tried a few times to use the pet search option to look for pets to buy, every time I try it my firefox goes to not responding. I then have to pull up the task manager and close firefox.
newest version of firefox
windows 7

@Metona,
The current search is really really poorly coded. It's one of our top priorities for recoding for the new layout.
At this time, I would suggest narrowing your search window as much as you can (down to price range, species, gender, type, etc). This will reduce the amount of results it returns.
If that still doesn't work, you could try searching in Chrome.
Basically, what it sounds like, is you're requesting too much data and your browser doesn't like it. When we recode our new search system it will only spit out a handful of pets at a time that you can scroll through - rather than spitting out the entire search at once. It's a design flaw that can't be fixed w/o recoding.
