You have lived with special gifts all your life. Youve tried to hide them or you have flaunted them. Whatever the case you have been sent a mysterious message saying that you are not alone in being abnormal. That theres a secret world where others like you work in the shadows to improve the world. You decide to go to the address they have sent you. To get there you simply pack and say, I Accept My Duty... A young girl with blue-silver eyes, rainbow hair, and a goth lolita dress whirls you away through a portal with swirling lights and flashes of scenes depicting various moments in time and space. You drop into a strange dorm-like room. The girl is gone. You look around and find a bunk-bed, small kitchen, and a attached bathroom. A terrace is overlooking a pristine courtyard. You notice a large chest in the corner. You walk over and try to open it. Its locked with an unpickable lock. You go over to the window take a second look. In the distance you see an academy that looks old as time, but still sturdy and standing. You hear a voice in your head urging you to go to the courtyard.

So the idea is an academy where young adults with special gifts go to learn how to integrate into normal human life, use their powers to help the world. But theres a darkness biding its time in the shadows, waiting for an opening. You may choose to be on the side of remaining hidden from humans and assisting from the sidelines. Or you could choose to want to create a world where humans are inferior. Or you could be anywhere in between. Roommates will be bunked with you in your room. You can choose or be randomized. Original Abnormal Human Beings (OAHB) were the first generation, they wield more power and have more gifts than any others. There are 13 of them, a few have died, some are on the light side, some on the dark side.

Kim can move objects with his mind, depending on how heavy the object is. The heavier it is, the harder it is for him.
Appearance: Personality:
Kim could be described as quiet, and soft spoken. He doesn't like showing emotions, and gets angry if people make him feel anything major. He could care less about his well being, and sometimes pushes himself too far. He can be rude sometimes, but he's only this way because he was treated horribly, by kids his age, and even by his own family. Normally things like gunshots or being hit by someone make him suddenly flip off. His caring side sometimes pokes out though, every now and then.
Background:
Kim was treated horribly his whole life, and underwent a major personality change. He became sad, and slightly mean. His parents and kids his age left scars on his soul, that very well may never heal. He became emotionless, and shut out from the rest of the world. The only person that can see his gentle and sweet side is his twin sister, who was also invited to the Academy.

Kim is pretty torn in between the two sides, he could be categorized in either one.

Kim hates sleeping. He'll do anything just to stay awake, and will push himself to exhaustion to where he'll literally pass out in public.

Ryu is a quiet girl like Kimiko, but she is a lot more cheerful then he is. She doesn't like being pushed around, but is overall friendly. Her and Kimiko often bicker, but that's only because of how their personalities sometimes clash. She has no sense of personal boundaries once she warms up to someone, and becomes very outgoing. Kimiko used to be this way as well.
Background:
Ryu didn't take as much as abuse as Kimiko did, but she's had her fair share of battles. As a result, she's a lot more perky then Kim is. She's more likely to trust someone then he is as well.

Personality: Skylar is a very unique and unpredictable person. She rarely speaks but thinks a lot and is very clever and gets things done. Skylar isn't shy but she is quiet. She is not a very cheerful girl but making other people happy does make her happy. She is very loyal but at the same time, she is not afraid to disagree with people. Those who get to know her well will discover her interesting sense of humor. She does like boys a lot and is kinda shy around them. Skylar also loves to read. Her favorite animal to change into is a cat and she also enjoys playing tricks on people by turning into them.
Background: Sky was an orphan raised in the country by an elderly couple who both knew about her abilities but accepted her into their family, anyways. They were all shunned by the local community and Sky became very distant and didn't really have any friends her age. She loved being outdoors and practicing her skills. When Sky received the message, her 'parents' urged her to accept it. Finally she was convinced, but someday she hopes to return and repay them for their kindness.

Reid is rather naive from growing up in a rather trusting environment, taking care of the many animals he was surrounded by every day and having to answer customer questions led to him being a tad bit impatient but caring nonetheless. He never learned what it felt like to be betrayed and doesn't realize that some people are not nice people.
Background:
Reid's parents owned a local pet store that he helped out in. He spent a lot of time with animals, observing how they behaved to different things and what their body postures meant. His parents were surprised when they found him in a cage without seeming to have opened the door, which then proceeded to happen multiple times. Once they witnessed him going through a cage door, after which his parents made him only do it after hours. When he got the message, he almost didn't go due to his parents thinking he'd never be seen again.

Anything he touches will become cold, he has the ability to change how cold it will be, ranging from a little chilly to absolute 0 (With enough practice). He can also make the surrounding air around him become cold, with the same range.
Appearance: Personality:
Kalt is rather emotionless, he knows nobody likes being around him and does his best to hide his envy of everyone's ability to give warmth. He is easily annoyed when someone complains about how cold it is around him or tells him he's too cold because he's been told that all his life.
Background:
When he was born, Kalt's body temperature was very cold due to his inability to control his powers, making the doctors believing he was dead or at least close to dying. His father disowned him for he believed there was no hope of him surviving, but his mother fed him and made sure he at least had a fighting chance. He was avoided because nobody wanted to be around someone who made it feel like winter all of the time, making him feel unwanted. Nobody cared when he left after getting the message.

He is brave yet mysterious, he doesn't want anyone but those close to him to know about him. He is rather strategic, making sure there is an exit out of any situation he puts himself or others in.
Background:
Nikolai is an OAHB. Multiple times in his life, he had been taken advantage of or shamed for his powers. When he found out he was not the only one with powers, or the only one that had been wronged by ones who had no powers, he decided to rise against them.

She has a eye of pure black. She can not see through it, but wears an eye bandage over it. If she takes the eye bandage off, the eye has mind controlling powers that manipulate her own brain and cause her to go berserk. She is unable to control herself and will attack anything in the way except for the one she calls her Soulamate.
Her second gift is the fact she can bond herself to a single person as a "Soulmate" and when they're around each other they will both gain an advance of powers and imhumane abilities (more agile, strong, pain tolerant etc) she may only be bonded to one person and must have a strong connection with them.

Personality
She's shy and quiet, she is quite angelic and isn't made for fighting. She is often hidden away and rarely seen, she hides and is in charge of the thinking. She has a hidden personality that she hates showing, hence why she hides one eye. It only appears, along with her taking off the bandage of her blind pure black eye, when she sees someone injure or try to injure those she cares about. It is also the only time she'll join an attack. In this time, she goes insane and will do anything to harm them and won't stop until their body is mauled or if she dies, making her beserkerish. As soon as the bandage is back on, she calms down. She doesn't remember anything that happens when her bandage is off.

Angelica is often very forgiving and calm, she knows her way around caring and herbs from adventure school. Her raccoon is also trained to be able to find herbs so they can care for the hurt. She refuses to see any bloodshed around her and is treated with respect - if people know who she is. When they don't, they often tease her for being so small and innocent, not thinking she's fit to be a sailor. She is often fine with this and just meets them with a smile. She hopes one day she can free humans and make them happy.

Angelica cares deeply about animals and especially her raccoon, Diana. She dislikes leaving anywhere alone, but will follow her soulmate anywhere. Other wise she curls up and waits to die instead of moving to a safer place. She knows she's rather useless in that sense, but doesn't mind it. She doesn't hate herself. Sometimes she can get upset if her soulmate teases her as she doesn't want to seem as useless as she can be in this respect.
Background
Her parents brought her up like a rich kid, telling her always to keep her eye covered after discovering about it. She obeyed and only really saw the disaster which could happen after a kid bullying her ripped it off at school. Despite being a high class child, she tried to associate herself with everyone and struggled at points being normal and fitting in, although she kept on smiling and trying. She hung around a lot of Eli and his friends, trying to be the most friendly to them although she could feel left out at points. This is one of the few times she ignored her parents who acted like Angelica was their daughter and Eli just her bodyguard. As sailing became a massive thing, she told her parents she'd like to try it and they sent her off to school, although her and Eli went to separate schools. She never saw her bodyguard again. It is believed her eyes was caused by a curse her grandfather bounty hunter had. She comes from Russia.

He is very friendly and quiet, keeping to himself, but if he talks to people he will be flirty to them. He does, however, love playing games and is a cheater. He thinks of the others as toys but won't mention that. he likes trying to control people like he controls sand. He, in general, loves trouble and doesn't think there should be equal rights, humans were inferior. They let themselves be controlled and were good slaves.
