WAIT, WAIT, WAIT. Before you get scared of my super big, 200-page obsession paper, I'm sorry!! I cannot deny my nature of being a flamboyant writer, even on a forum post that will most likely not get much attention. Please, if you are too scared to read all this, just hang in there. I'll write you a reader's digest version of all of this after I get my prescribed beauty sleep.

Heya. Random person who joined a week ago here. Actually, just call me Muffie. Anywhoodles, let's talk. You're reading this because you like this game, right? That's why I'm reading this. I think we can establish that we all like this game, but this isn't about that. This thread is for me to find other cool books, shows, and/or games to play. (Already? You've barely been playing Sylestia for a week! How can you already be bored enough to want other things to do?! (The answer to that is I almost immediately took advantage of people's lack of stable space and used my new Sylesties to go on missions, thus granting me eternal wealth.)) Alas, since I am too lazy to find good time-wasting activities on my own, I will attempt to get some of you guys to share what you like to do in this thread.
***
BOOKS:
My definition of a book is something you can read that is typically printed and available at your local library and/or bookstore. Therefore, this would include chapter books, graphic novels, manga, and webcomics. Of course, these are not all of the kinds of books out there, but they are the ones I tend to read the most.
I like to read book series as opposed to just stand-alone books, because I can get more invested in something that's ongoing (which I like to do A LOT. Get invested into things, I mean). Webcomics are also nice in that sense, especially since most, if not all, of the ones I am currently reading are a little ways away from being complete.
Chapter books I've read/am reading: Wings of Fire, Warriors, The Last Dragon Chronicles, Leisl & Po, The Ring of Solomon. (TBH I can't remember much of the books I've read since I started to transition into a period of simply passively reading Warriors and nothing else, then reading no books at all, then picking it up again.)
Webcomics I'm reading: Cucumber Quest, Beyond the Canopy, Demon Street, Monster Pulse, Monsterkind, Blood is Mine.
It's been too long since I've read a graphic novel to remember any titles, whooooops.
Mangas I've read (currently not reading anything): Blue Exorcist, SOME MANGA ABOUT RABBIT THINGS THAT DID COOKING AND STUFF BUT I CANT REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE MANGA AND GOOGLE THINKS I'M CRAZY AT THIS POINT FOR LOOKING AT COFFEE.
***
SHOWS:
Shows = Anime, cartoons. That's basically all I am willing to watch. Euch, sorry, but I have a very refined taste. A taste that only lets me watch anime and cartoons without cringing on one level or another. /shrug/
I, uhh, like anime because they fight and stuff, and cartoons fight and stuff too. I especially like the part where they, uhh, jump over things.
Animus I've watched: Dragon Ball Super (I have watched some of the DBZ stuff but not enough to know much), Blue Exorcist, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (please do not kill me or ban me or anything for mentioning that show >.<). Never really watch more than snippits of other animes, but I have seen a little Naruto and One Piece.
Shows I've watched: YouTube, YouTube, YouTube, YouTube, Battle for Dream Island (aka show on YouTube), YoyleTube, YouTube, ChalkZone, YouTube, Craig of the Creek (funny story on that: my laptop which contained all my prized drawings and fan fictions got a cup of water dumped on it, and is still /hopefully/ recovering. In the time I had no desktop to play anything on, I sat around and watched Cartoon Network on my super cool grandma's TV. The show was actually REALLY COOL and I plan on maybe watching more of it sometime. Ehehehe.)
JEEZE I WATCH A LOT OF YOUTUBE. Maybe I should have made a YT section here, that would get you guys talking...
Whatevs.

GAMES: (everyone's favorite woo)
Games: Only requirement is that you need a computer to play it.
gAmEs aRe A cOoL aNd pRodUcTiVe wAsTe oF tImE!1!1!!!1
Games I play/have played (not all games on this list I still play): Animal Jam, Transformice, Monster Super League, Cuphead, Undertale, Niche: A Genetic Survival Game, hippo tries not to die.exe, BaLdI's bAsIcS, Purble Place (you guys I played that stuff in 2010 and just now got it for windows 10 so I can play for the lols), Sylestia (DUH), Monster Squad (when it was still around. Rip MS ;-;), DragonVale. I also have a Leapster that my parents bought me when I was, like, 3, but I don't think any of you people that are totally 13 and up would know what those are. Or maybe you do, I dunno. /megashrug/. Also aslo I have a Wii. Because my parents are poor and we can't afford to keep up with the times. It's whatevs though.
Roblox gets its own special spot on the list because I started playing that stuff in 2012 and cherish all the memories and games and friends and memes I got from that platform. Rip lifetime BC, I never sold that $200 cup of lemonade in time to buy you ;(

BOTTOM TEXT
Just, uhh, reply to this thread with your opinions on my opinions on everyone else's opinions. I'm gonna make a list (if anyone suggests anything) of things I'll look into. Also, ping pong me if you write a reply because I love feeling special. Thanks fellow strangers <33
also the only reason i put bottom text there was because it looked weirder not to have it than to have it. also aslo when i have 2 or more things to mention and i use the word also i must misspell that word for every other also i plan on saying. do not correct me on something that is already perfect.
Book series I recommend: the Raven Files series, the Alex Rider series, the Redwall series, etc. A fantastic stand-alone novel is Dear Killer.
Some really good webcomics include Lackadaisy and Sleepless Domain. Also, have you ever tried Tapas?
I don't watch any shows (unfortunately), but I do watch YouTube. I think JaidenAnimations is awesome.
You chose the best time to join Sylestia, by the way! And your family isn't too behind the times. My family doesn't even have a TV (or a wii).

Books I recommend: Foxcraft, Spirit Animals. You like WoF and Warriors too?
Games: AJPW (Animal Jam: Play Wild) (Do you already play that?), Dragon CIty (A little boring, but ok?), Spirit Animals, and Neopets. I might add more as I think of them :3

Hmm, interesting books. I think I've heard of the Redwall series before, but know nothing about it.
Lackadaisy also sounds like something I've heard before. What's it about? And no, never tried Tapas. I'v never even heard of it.
Yeah, there are a lot of good channels on YouTube to watch. I keep up with the animation club (James, Jaiden, SomethingElseYT, Alex Clark, those guys), they seem to all be pretty popular.
Oh, did I now? I seem to have caught the tail end of these seasonal Festivals, and have just been selling eggs found from nurturing to people. And yeah, having a TV is nice, but we mostly use it to stream YouTube from someone's laptop. Wii hasn't been functional recently (not that it matters), and no cable, so it's either movies or streaming for us. Ehehe.

I've heard of both book series. I actually think I read the first book for Spirit Animals.. Brandon Mull wrote that series, yes? Back when I read the first book, the series was hot off the press, so I must have forgotten about the series while waiting on book 2..
"Like" is a bit of an understatement of my relationship with Warriors and WoF... I ADORE those books; more so WoF than Warriors, because I've always been a dragon fan. I was actually allergic to cats for a long while (I'm not anymore, and hopefully can get a catto for my bunny to be friends with. Wait, I never mentioned having a rabbit.. Oh well, now you know I have a rabbit).
I HAVE played AJPW before, and while it does have its perks (no membership, no discrimination), I didn't enjoy it enough to play it on a regular basis. Is Dragon City also a mobile game? If so, I probably won't get to it, rip. Spirit Animals having a game is also ringing a bell for me; I think I did check out Mull's website before and play it (I think I picked a tiger for my "spirit animal"). Neopets is something else I have heard about A LOT, and I'm actually pretty surprised that I never played it at all.

Each Spirit Animals book is written by a different person. Also, if you want to friend me on any of these games, just let me know your username so I know its you :3

Hello!!! Im pinging you!!! Srry...
Book recommendations: ahahahhahahahhaah dont get me started. Throne of Glass and ACOTAR are by the same author and are amazing! But they can get a tad inappropriate. Wings of Fire, Rangers Apprentice, Warriors, and Percy Jackson are all pretty good as well.
Games: I kinda but not really play animal jam. I got banned on one acc and just gave up :P I play Transformice and I think Im okay.... My user on tfm is Neko522k.

No worries! I actually very much enjoy being pinged. It makes me feel very bery special. <33
Eh, I'm ok with mildly inappropriate things. I've seen the movies for Percy Jackson, and they were pretty good. Never heard of Throne of Glass, ACOTAR, or Rangers Apprentice, though. What are they about?
I had a very old account a long time ago (maybe 2010 - 2011 range) on AJ, but I can't find the old account anywhere. I made a new one in 2015-16 and have been playing on it periodically since, but haven't logged in for a few months now. TFM is easy to play, but hard as heck to master. I think I'm alright as well.
