The sun beat down upon the soft grassland, a cool summer breeze stirring the blades gently while the boy looked out over it. He had been sitting in the same spot all morning watching the remaining few heads of the herd as they grazed. Tiredly his eyelids fluttered, sleep slowly creeping over him. Work had been rather slow the last few weeks, with the cows bedding down to nest and the grows not near harvest. It was as if the whole village was on hold while they waited for the coming of Harvest. Harvest was the time of year where all the crops were picked and put away, not to mention when the calves were born. As a protoceratop handler his job was to grow the males large enough that they could be butchered out for the winter, and that the females were able to raise their young. Once that was done though the entire village would come together for a fest, celebrating the coming of winter and the new year. Each year the lord of the village would hand out egglings to the lucky few who had their names drawn from the hat. In the years before the drawings had been rather nice. Last year the lord had handed out three eggling velociraptors, and the year before that had been stegosaurus. As the visions of the fest and hopes of finally winning the drawing danced through his head his eyes finally closed and he slowly drifted off to sleep. He only woke when there came a ear splitting crash as something collided with the barn he had been leaning against. The herd was well enough away they didn't spook at the sound, which was a miracle. Last time they had spooked they ran straight through the fence into the fields destroying some of the crops has they did. Thankfully they seemed calm for the time being.
Smoke filled the barn as he pushed the door opened, coughing a bit as the cloud greeted him. Inside there was a clear crater of destruction. The loft had a large hole in it from where the object had come crashing through, and the stack of curing hay seemed to be smoking lightly. Out of instinct the boy ran to the back of the barn, taking a bucket and filling it full of water before tossing it on the hay. There came a slight hiss before a hand shot up through the drying grass, grasping at the air for a moment before finally falling back down again. The boy stood there in confusion, the bucket he was holding dropping to the ground. By now the neighbors where noisily making their way over to investigate.

"Boy what on earth was all that noise about?!" An older man yelled as he made his way into the barn before all the others could. His name was Jon, Old Farmer Jon as the villager called him. His face wrinkled up more as his eyes slowly adjusted to the low lighting. "What in blue blazes..." the man asked as he looked up to the large hole in the roof of the barn. Now he was just as perplexed as the boy was. Carefully he followed the trail of destruction to the pile of hay which had stopped smoking for the time being. Cautiously he took a step forward, taking up the hay fork in his hand before lightly moving the hay aside, as he did so he uncovered the strange being. The clothes the seemingly 'human' wore were bright blue in color, though it was much different then the clothing the villagers were wearing. His chest was adorned with strange plating as well, and one of his arms seemed to have some sort of black rock like growth covering it. Now entirely confused the farmer drug the strange human from the pile of hay and out to the crowd of people.
"What is is Jon?!" Someone called followed by "Is is dangerous?" and "Funniest Sky Rock I've ever seen." That others answered with.
"I-I'm not entirely sure what it is." Jon answered slowly prodding the being in the side. "It looks human enough though it's a sickly pale color, and its got weird growths on its arms..."
"Maybe Vitani will know what it is!" Someone shouted from the back of the crowd. "She knows about all sorts of illnesses!"
"Well don't just stand there you idiot, go and fetch her!" Jon shouted afraid to get any closer to this seemingly infected being. From the back of the crowd a small girl pushed her way through as she raced off towards the doctor's home. She didn't bother to knock as she entered the hut.
"Vitani! Vitani! You have to come quick!" The little girl said excitedly as she jumped up and down at the woman's side lightly tugging on her shirt. "Old Farmer Jon found something really neat in his barn! You have to come quick!"

-Cereul-
The mines were a hard place to work, just ask any miner and the answer is always the same, dangerous, hard, yet it always yielded surprises. Cereul could back that up. Today it was extremely laborious, before the festival it always was, but more so today, nobody knew why. Cereul starts to wear away at the wall of rock with their pickaxe, They haven't found much today, but the others have. Their compsognathus moves away some of the fallen debris. They keep hacking at the wall with no luck of finding anything.
" That's it for today!" A loud baritone echoes off the rocky walls, Cereul puts their pickaxe back in the tool trolley and the small dinosaur follows them out. Stepping carefully between rocks and puddles of water, reaching the path the light slowly becomes brighter as they reach the ground above. Taking a deep breath the fresh air fills their lungs. Suddenly a girl's excited voice could be heard.
"Vitani! Vitani! You have to come quick!" Fear slithers into Cereul, but the girl's vice was way to excited to be deemed something bad had happened.
"Old Farmer Jon found something really neat in his barn! You have to come quick!" Cereul takes a look in Farmer Jon's farms direction. Sure enough there was a huge mob of people with smoke rising gently from his barn. What had happened? They quickly rush over to all the commotion.

Vitani was in her hut mixing some prescriptions for the local villagers and doing odd chores for the day being she had not received any house calls. It was oddly quiet that afternoon and the air felt a bit stagnant and uneasy, though all seemed normal. Suki's bleating call jolted her from her work signaling someone was coming, and she put away the medication she was working on and brushed the herbs and dirt from her shirt as a small girl entered, one of her patients daughters.

"Vitani! Vitani! You have to come quick!" The little girl said excitedly as she jumped up and down at her side lightly tugging on her shirt. "Old Farmer Jon found something really neat in his barn! You have to come quick!"

The old Farmer was not the one to call for assistance even when he needed it so Vitani wasted no time tossing a rein connection to the girl for Suki's bridle fearing something life threatening may have happened " Here Go get Katsuki ready to ride and get saddled in" she said kindly grabbing a case with her gause and basic first aid as ell as her emergency pack she used to splint bones and contained elixirs for serious fevers, anesthetics and antibiotics. After a minute or two she had Katsuki packed and her and the little one made their way to the barn with Haste. She slid off her saddle her emergency pack in hand as she made her way briskly through the crowd of people the smell of smoke filling her nose " Oi! Can you grab the other Case and bring it to me?!" she hollered at the girl half deafening the people who wouldent move out of her way As they moved she saw a man He looked dehydrated and slightly anemic or at the least was highly unconscious, The thing that caused her worry was the rock like growths from one of his arms. She knelt down taking a quick pulse and similar vitals before looking him over for any wounds. her eyes gravitating to his arm as she slipped a pair of gloves over her hands and spoke to The farmer and the Shepard boy in a low enough tone the crowds wouldent hear or bee too nosy " What exactly happened?" she asked seeming rather perplexed but highly intrigued.

"I-I was spitting near the barn watching the herd graze when I dozed off a bit. I woke up when I heard a horrible noise come from barn. When I got in there there was some smoke and a giant hole in the roof. I can only guess that...he?" The boy looked to the farmer then the doctor for correction. When none came he continued. "Fell from the roof into the barn..." As unbelievable as it seemed there had been rocks fall from the sky before as well as some bird though never a human. Was he wrong to think that could be so? "I-I'm sorry I couldn't be of any more help."
"What's that thing on his arm there?" The farmer asked cocking a bushy eyebrow up in question. As the woman touched it the think sprung to life, a small green line appearing in the middle of it. Every now and again it would beep as the line went up each time it crossed the growth. "Does that mean it's alive? It ain't got a pulse to does it?" The farmer asked taking a cautious step back. As crowd gathered tighter though the strange being begun to move slightly, groaning a bit as he fought to wake up. His eyes flickered open a bit before he again fell into unconsciousness. His face as well as hands were covered in small cuts while a larger cut stood out on the side of his head. Blood slowly seeped down the side of his head. The crowd gasped a bit as he stirred and backed away in unison before muttering about to themselves.

Vitani hesitated to answer as she hastily found the Mans pulse and watched the green line Seeing it matched his pulse " .... uh.. It matches his Heart rate...." she said in awe Before feeling him stir and rubbing her hand gently over his forehead to keep him laying down before her hand stared to feel warm and wet... the feeling of fresh blood a feeling she was familiar with. " Its not Going to spread if you touch him, just to ease your head Mr. Jon.... could I ask you and your stable boy to help me Load him up on Suki so I can get him back to my work hut" she said pulling a string of gause from her pack and gently wrapping it about the mans head to hold pressure to the cut seeming at ease about the situation now seeing as he was not seriously injured. She realized the Lords Children had arrived as well and were looming closely " I'll give your Father my report as soon as he wakes, for now I don't see a need to worry the dear Lord with the presence of someone who can speak for themselves." she said her tone very professional as she stood up and dusted off her shorts and wiped the blood from her hand on her shirt hem.

-Cereul-
This was extremely odd. Cereul has never seen anyone like that before nor has any other villager. Kai (the compsognathus) draws a bit closer to their leg. He fell from the sky and to think only rocks fell. The crowd stands still and quiet, unsure what to do next. Vitani has healed this person, so now the final question is.
"Farmer Jon do we leave him in your barn?" I mumble, it wouldn't be ideal, but would be sufficient. But then also what about the hole in the roof, if it rains he'll get very wet. Jon considers that for a moment.
"I suppose we could leave him here, put him on that straw mattress i have over there." He grunts and points to the white sheet stuffed with straw. We stood there in silence. Nobody really wanted to touch a strange being, really huh. Cereul sighs, it would be rude to have him wake up in a charred hole in a barn. I pick him up and move him to the mattress. The odd green pulse keep blinking, that was very interesting, matches his heartbeat. Could it be an extraterrestrial being?! That would be very cool, but also weird, but mostly cool.
Everyone starts to wander off, done with all the excitement. I look up at the burnt hole on the barn. And back to the unconscious person. Wonder how he landed from the sky? Perhaps a quetzalcoatlus or other of those flying creatures. But that doesn't really explain the odd green pulse.

The farm band stepped forward only to have the miner pick the man up first. A bit sadly he stepped back before looking towards the woman again. "Do you think he will be alright?" The boy asked clearly curious suddenly. This question earned him a heavy hand on his shoulder as the older man intervened.
"Ain't time for questioning boy, got to fix the roof. Don't want the animals getting wet. If he pulls through he pulls through if not it ain't going to hurt anyone." The farmer said before pulling the boy aside and heading off to fix the barn. As the strange man was place down on the bed the green pulse light quickly switched over to a full layout of health. It pinpointed the sites of injury, including the few minor fractures he received in the fall and even gave an estimate time of unconsciousness. After a few moments it flicked back to the pulse screen. Every few minutes it would switch between the two screens.

Vitani Gave the farm hand a kind smile of reassurance And walked over to observe the man whistling for Suki to come in the barn, The large Beast laying down a few meters away. as she sat at his side she saw the strange heart growth flicker to something other than the Blinking heart rate. She noticed that it looked much like the lay out of the human body and the little red flickers matched up with his wounds, and it seemed he had a few broken bones as well. She took a moment to turn to Cereul giving them a nod of thanks for moving him to a different location " Much Appreciated, " She said kindly before rolling up her sleeves, getting to work on cleaning and properly bandaging his wounds and splinting one of his fractures Placing a cool wet rag on his fore head to spare him from the heat of the barn.
