In the past few hours I have spent 1,000 diamonds and 5,380,000 gold trying to get the Aeri's Arcanist set. And what do I have to show for it..?
FIVE times I got the Wings - wings that I'm really not all that fond of. At first I just didn't like them, but after this? I genuinely hate 'em and I'm tired of seeing them.
THREE sets of tails. Which... I guess are okay... Not my favorite of tails but I can live with it...
Only ONE Spring Arcanist's Flare - which is a shame because I love this one!
Only ONE Spring Arcanist's Dust - which is a shame because again, I love this one!
Know what I don't have? Spring Arcanist's Finery (which is kinda meh so I don't mind) and Spring Arcanist's Shroud, which SUCKS because that's the one I've been trying to get when it's given me WINGS, and WINGS, and WINGS, and WINGS, and WINGS! I honestly wish this was reversible - I'd keep one set of wings and send the rest to how they were, which was BETTER than these stupid recurring wings. >__<
I don't get irritated by much, really I don't. But this is getting ridiculous and in my opinion? It's needlessly unfair to players. Same with the Steampunk Puffs - I spent ELEVEN philters before getting the hat! The hat that I wanted the most and the reason why I kept throwing my gold/diamonds away on the RNG risk until I had practically nothing left.
Why do I even bother with this cruel and unfair RNG on such an expensive item? For the price we have to pay, what's wrong with just letting players CHOOSE the trait they acquire?
Edit: Finally, after 17 philters, I got the Shroud thanks to an awesome friend who sent me a philter that gave me a stroke of luck! (You know who you are, and I <3 you :D)

1 Shroud! With the LAST philter I had. Ironically on an Aeri named "Mercy" so I'm glad she gave ME some Mercy with these evil RNG philters.

7 ugly, evil wings that wouldn't leave me alone..!! >__< 3 of which also got the Natureguard G1 over and over and over again on top of the evil wings when I WANTED the M3! ... so even more evil on the RNG of these phitlers...

17. 17 philters, and on the 17thI finally got the trait I wanted from the beginning. This prove my point yet?

This is why I only use restricted philters on offspring where I can control which trait the pet gets. But, if we could be given the option to choose which trait we got, that would be absolutely wonderful~

Seeing as all of my maxed stats Aeri are 6V or the 4V restricted for Lunar traits (which can't be replaced because they're restricted as well) and the Arcanist Aeri has all 6 slots? Yeeaahhhh I don't have that option on these... Wish I did - if so I'dda done just that like I did for the Imperial Dragon Ny'vene, which I had regens for so it was easy to set everything up to how I needed it.
And there's no way in hell I'm going to invest another 50+ prismatic philters to completely start over a new Aeri project which already took about 70 to complete just for the sake of getting the traits I need. I think 1k diamonds and over 5 million gold is more than enough of an investment; I wouldn't want to add another 3-4k diamonds on prismas. x__x

Ouch >.< yeah... that sucks. I do agree that the high price would make the ability to choose the trait fair, though. And it would certainly make all us breeders' lives easier XD
