After the tragic event labeled by most 'Infinity War', the superhero community was split nearly down the middle - caught up in whether to find Thanos, or to attempt to rescue their friends. Most believed those people who had fallen to Thanos' snap were really dead and the only thing left was to avenge them. But they're wrong.
Bucky Barnes is the first to wake in the Soul World. Surrounded by a shadowy aura of palest gray, he cannot see the world around him very well. Others, likewise, have a difficult time seeing him through the smoke.
Peter Parker woke next, to a shadowy figure gently shaking his shoulder. Upon finding out that this shadow person is actually Bucky, and this world is not heaven, Peter then turns his attention to a more urgent question. "Why does my leg hurt?" It is broken. Bucky has nothing to make a splint from, and amid a few choice Russian words, he picks up Peter and carries him off, with the comment, "You can tell me when I'm about to walk into a tree or something."
Bucky and Peter have made camp for the night, when a female voice asks,almost incredulously, "Peter?"

Don't be all mushy-gushy romantic, please. A little romance is fine, although since we're not using OCs, I don't know where it would fit.

Bucky looked toward the sound of the voice. Gently poking Peter, he asked, "Hey, you know where she is, kid? Or who she is? I can't see her." He shook his head, waving in front of his face, trying to get rid of the pale smoky aura surrounding him.

It had all happened for fast, first the whole outspace thing then the turning to dust. When he first woke though he had actually though that he had died and been sent to heaven after all Bucky did kinda resemble Jesus. But to his astonishment it wasn't the holy world but something far from it. What was this place? Pain shot up from his leg then, breaking his thoughts. How had that happened?! The whole joint about his ankle was swollen, and there was a large knot about his shin. His leg was broken. "I-i don't think I can stand..." he said panting slightly. It was then that the larger man picked him up, carrying him like a groom would a bride. It was embarrassing to say the least. Come what could only be nightfall they settled down to make camp. He wasn't able to get comfortable, the pain in his leg flaring up when he moved even the slightest. Again his thoughts were broken when Bucky touched his arm. "What? Who? Sorry I was-was just thinking of how to get us out of here." It was clear he wasn't doing that but still.

Bucky motioned in the general direction of whoever had just yelled.
"There's some girl out there or something and I can't see a thing. You know her, or at least can you tell me where she is?" He shook his head again, trying to get rid of that annoying white cloud that had decided to settle around him. He rubbed his eyes, as if that would do anything. "Ugh, I can't get it off. Gah, this is annoying." He growled in frustration. This place was the absolute worst.

Bucky looked at the kid as best he could through the fog. He'd said he'd keep watch, but truth was, he could barely see past his own nose. If it came to a fight, he was sure he'd be downed with the first punch. The smoke wasn't luminous, so as the sky darkened, the smoke did as well. If anyone had been there to see him, he would have seemed to be a ghost, or just a wavering, white cloud. He said, "So, uh. I never got your name. I mean, I met you in the airport a couple years ago, but I never heard who you were." Mentally, he punched himself for how awkward that was.

((I'll gradually write in all the different characters, for now it's just the three of them. So, the last post I wrote is now irrelevant and we shall continue where we left off before that. Just quoting for convenience))

When his name was called he looked up, squinting some past the fog that seemed to cover the land for the time being. He vaguely knew the voice though not enough to put it with a name. The last time he had heard that voice had been...when Captain and Mr. Stark had been fighting. It was hard to put a name with the voice though, seeing he was still new to this entire Avengers thing. Confused he looked to Bucky hoping he would know this woman since he had been with the team the longer. Still it wasn't nice to leave her in the dark. "I'm over here I guess miss?"

Bucky listened to her setting the items out, though he couldn't see what she was doing. At her question of 'where are we' he shook his head. "I have no idea. Last thing I knew, I felt kind of sick and then I fell on my face. Then I woke up here, couldn't see anything, still can't, found the spider kid and we made our way here." He motioned to Peter. "You know anything about this place, kid?" With a growl he waved through the smoke/fog in front of his face, trying to thin it out a little. Which was, of course, futile. A thought ran through his head, and he looked over in Scarlet's general direction. "You're the girl with the mind powers, right? Think you could get the fog off of my face? Also do you know where any sticks are because the spider kid's leg is broken."
