The sun was ruthless and hot, making Avery Wipe her brow to keep the sweat from getting in her eyes as she finished her last lap around the wall, Slapping the stone gate with an open palm before heading back at a slower jog. She had been focused on training for her next run, But she figured she better go check on the others, So Jack wouldn't scold her about it later. She sighed as she slowed to a walk a little ways from the makeshift hut buildings that was her home as she knew it, Pulling her hair up into a bun and wiping her face with her sleeve.
Caleb
The shade in the kitchen was at least a little relieving, but the heat from the fire made up for it. Caleb Had a strip of cloth tied around his forehead to keep the sweat out of his eyes as he cut up various vegetables and herbs for what was going to be dinner. After a little bit he stepped out for a break from the heat of the fire, catching a glimpse of Avery as she jogged in letting out an audible sigh " hope She's got an excuse for missing Lunch" he grumbled, a little irritated at the thought.

Nick and Jacob were talking to each other about who knows what. Jack walked up to them and said, "how are you guys?"
"We're alive." Jacob said. "What?" Nick asked. "I thought you said you had the best day ever!" Nick said, confused.
"Yeah, well I had to make sure you weren't going to be breathing down my neck to have a good day!" Jacob said

As she got into the camp she saw Jacob, Jack and Nick talking to one another, the two brothers seeming to have a bit of a disagreement. " Oi! Whats up ?" she asked stopping her Jogging pace and seeming refreshed form her 10 mile run for the day, " You two playing house again?" she said teasingly with a cheerful smile to lighten the mood.
( Do we know Jacobs Job? just curious XP)

They were all going to answer at the same time, but Nick yelled over the top or the other two. "Nope!" He said. "Just chilling"
(...I'd have to check, but I think he's with the trackhoes...)

(Pretty sure my character is Adley but I can't remember for sure... XD)
Adley finished with the meat for the dinner and let out a huff. She looked around for anything else to be done but didn't see much for the time being. Feeling like she needed some fresh air, she left the kitchen to go for a walk in the forest, a knife strapped to her calf for safety. Smiling lightly and relishing the beautiful glow of the sun through the trees.
She almost forgot about her situation for a moment and instead felt as though she were at home. She could imagine the surroundings of home around her, picturing her dogs running through the brush with her and her boyfriend two steps ahead, leading the way. A single tear fell from the corner of her eye as she was rudely awakened by the reality of her situation, nearly believing what she thought up. She wanted nothing more than to disappear from this place and go back home to her family and friends.

Avery Watched Jack Leave and turned back to Nick and Jacob seeming to talk more directly to Nick as her tone became more serious and her smile fadded to a more stoic expression " I'm pulling a long one tomorrow... And I'm dragging a newbie along so they may need a wrap or two if we get back." she said seeming to not have a worry for her self but more for the one she was taking along

Adley's head shot up when she heard Jack, and turned to look at him from under her hair to hide her face, "Yes. Fine."
Her temper fired at being caught in what she would call a weak moment, she turned back and started to walk once again through the forest.
