Can I buy just the male? The female shows banded stripes which, unfotunately, dominates another gene that I am needing in my breeding project.

This is absolutely true! I love the search. Searching for Qitari brought up some with Satyr Horns and some carrying the gene that you might be interested in, also zebra stripes, etc. I'll link a few of them for you.
