What's the difference between tagged and non-tagged themed pets?

Also, how much are themed pets worth gold-wise?

Tagged are most easily recognised by their purple tag at the bottom of their profile as shown here. (Scroll down near the bottom, it's a Blue Hydrangea Kelpari)

Non tagged themed, also known as purebred, have parents of the same theme, but don't actually have a tag themselves. An example here. (Some lineages are slightly more complicated, such as this one, but are still purebred)

As for pricing on themed, it fully depends on how the pet was obtained and how popular it is. (if it's been captured with traps or obtained exclusively from events). The advanced search is the best way to get price estimates on themes you're selling ^^
