In the kingdom of (Insert Name Here) beyond the castle and surrounding areas there is a school for those who wish to recognize their spirit. Everyone has one, but those who wish to recognize and strengthen it may attempt to enter the school. If they are accepted through the trials (more on those later) they will meet with an Ink Dweller, a not-quite-human scholar who will ceremoniously draw a mark on their hand. The mark will slowly morph as it moves to it's final destination. If it is on the hand, it will just make small circles on the back. It morphs into an animal that internally represents that person. The animal may move, and it is as sign of that person realizing themselves. It essentially binds the spirit firmly to the body, and nothing can remove it. Supposedly. There are rumours that someone has started experimenting to sever a spirit. Not just regular spirits, though. Bound spirits. Now new students willing to take on apprenticeship will have to discover if it is true. (Onviously it is) And if can stop it before a dark plan comes into play.
