The waters were clear and shallow making it easy to see the the edges of her small cove. The water was just deep enough for her to swim comfortably in, and was more that enough to hide her from on lookers. For now though the red and black fish like mammal was resting on the rock that jutted from the small cove. She had just eaten a few fish she had been lucky to find, and was now sunning in the midday sun.

Gavin-
The skinny stallion lay in the shade of the trees, his head down as he rested. A large wound stood out on his hind leg, preventing him from standing. The wound was the result of being mauled by a vulynx shortly after escaping the stables he was being held in. He was already weak then and now he was unable to stand. The vast meadow beyond called to him, just out of his reach.

Florian-
"I just love flowers!" The small aeridini said fluttering about the patch of flowers, sniffing them all in turn. "Look how lovely they all are!" Happily the little hatchling fluttered around the flowers before diving into them and playin about with the blossoms.

Terra rose out of the grass she had been sleeping in that night and streched, yawning loudly. She glanced over the rest of her small herd to make sure she hadn't woken anyone, then trotted off through the meadow. Terra streched her wings and let the breeze slide past them as she sped over the green grass of the Viridian Meadows. Then as the wind shifted, she caught an unusual smell, one that she hhadn't ented in a long time, not since she had almost gotten captured by the humans.
Vulnyx. she thought grimly. Then another smell mixed it's way in. Blood. Quitari blood, to be precise. Without stopping to rethink it, she leapt into the air, gliding along faster than she could run before she dropped down again. She couldn't wait until she was an adult so she could truly fly.
Soon she found the source: a skinny male Quitari streched out in the trees. Terra landed, and the metallic smell of blood stung her nostrils. His head was down and his eyes were closed. Terra couldn't tell if he was breathing. Then she say his terrible wound. Causiously, she poked him in the side with one slim hoof.
"Excuse me," she asked, "but are you alive?"

Garvin-
He hadn't heard the female approach. When she touched him his eyes opened slowly. This was it, this was the end wasn't it? Though it wasn't the vulynx, but a quitari just like himself. If he could have lifted his head he would of, though he felt too weak to do so at the moment.

The young vixen folder her wings as she landed softly on the ground, Shaking her goggles from off her eyes to rest on her forehead, the smell of dried blood interning her nose and making her cringe a bit.As she padded the treeline of the meadow the scent only became worse Until she found its source. A rather emaciated looking stallion Lay in the shade keeping a low profile.. It was probably for the best, especially considering the smell drifting from his wound. He seemed to be speaking to a Mare, and to avoid spooking them injuring him further she spread her wings and took to the air circling around to the stallions view of sight and keeping her distance as she spoke ." That Looks Like a pretty nasty wound there.."

Gavin-
He followed the nixi with his eyes, ears pointed forward to her. Weakly he lifted his head just enough that he would be able to talk. He tried to speak though he wasn't able to form any of the words he wished to say. Instead he weakly put his head down again, closing his eyes.

Mikus wings were stretched out to their max, hooves and paws tucked in close to her. A strange smell drifted across her path... it smelled of multiple sylesti, and blood? The feathers at the end of her tail flapped in the wind, as she tilted her body in that direction. This could mean an easy meal, if she could bring herself to eat it. Miku did not like eating meat, and had been living off of the bare minimum of plant life for a week now. She alighted softly ontop of a nearby tree and observed the group of sylesti speak among each other. Miku looked down and peered at them curiously. The gray in her eyes flashed curiously. She tilted her head. It truly was an odd sight.

Terra jumped as he moved and even more when the Nixi spoke from behind her.
"He's alive!" she gasped, then composed herself - a hard thing, since even the smallest bit of blood made hersqueamish.
"You stay here!" Terra instructed the Zolnixi. "Keep him alive!""
She shot into the air, flapping eerratically toward her herd. "II'll et help!" she called over her shoulder, causing her to plunge then correct herself at the last moment.

Terra landed awkwardly by her herd, tripping over her wings in her haste.
"LISTEN!!!" she bellowed. Everyone turned to her in surprise. Terra was usually a shy, gently Quitari.
"There's a skinny old dead Quitari who isn't dead over there and I left a Nixi with him and he's not dead anymore but he was and he will be and you JUST GOTTA GO HEEELLLLPPP!!!" she blurted.
One of the elder Quitari in the herd shook his head. "Terra, you're almost grown up!" he said sadly. "It's time to act your age and stop making things up."
Terra rushed in front of him and flared her wings in his face before he could walk away. "I am NOT! Please, he's gonna DIE!!!"
He stepped around her. "No, Terra, I'm sorry."
All around her everyone was muttering and making sad faces.

"Please!" Terra screeched, close to tears. "Someone! HELP!"

She listened carefully, and found that she couldnt bring herself to swoop down and take the poor sylesti. Miku snuffled her beak into her satchel, and picked up a vial filled with an odd serum inside of it. It was a healing potion, that she had bought a while back but hadnt used, for she hadnt needed it. Carefully, using her beak like tweezers, Miku stretched her neck and hung it on a branch. The branch, weighted down by the vial, dipped low enough for even the injured Quitari to reach.

Perfect!
Miku thought, satisfied with herself.

Although it may only recover a small amount of health, it should be able to give just the right amount for the Quitari to stand, or move a small bit more easily. It would be a better use for the serum, as Miku didnt need it at that moment. She watched anxiously, and retracted her feathered neck.
