The sun had just begun to rise over the desecrated city. Smoke flumes bellowed up from the some of the building, most started in an attempt to keep the infected at bay. Those attempts seemed to all be in vain. Silently the small cat made his way through the rubble, the flare gun grasped tightly in his paw. Both of his ears swiveled about catching each little sound that was made around him. It was dangerous to be on the ground, at night or during the day but one still had to tend to their own needs. He had to find fresh sealed water. The less chance he took with getting infected the better. That was part of the reason he was in his full riot uniform, gas mask and all. Just to be on the safe side.

The rabbit was hiding beneath a dumpster, curled up about himself as he tried to catch some sleep. It wasn't helping, he couldn't get any rest in fear that he would get snatched up. The pizza delivery shirt he wore was covered in blood already, though it wasn't his own. He had come across a scene and in the end had gotten most of the gore. He just hoped this didn't pass through the blood stream.

The panther padded along the cold rooftop, moving silently for an animal so large. She watched a Police Officer in full riot rear patrol - or whatever he was doing, it didn't matter to her - along an ampty street. The rising sun caught her fur and brought out the darker spots, and making her seem in shades of midnight-dark blue and violet.

Even though Terra's head was down and she appeared tired, she was sharp and alert, her copper-flecked greed eyes constantly scanning her surroundings. Terra stopped at a low point to watch a rabbit crouching by a Dumpster. Jumping down, she spoke roughly to him.
"It's not smart to be out this early," Terra paused and looked around. "Keep away from others, and stay out of alleys like this. Bodies are dumped here, and the air is filthy with the Plague."
The panther began to walk away, but she added, "113 Sepia Way. The password's Darkened. I'm not your friend, I'm trying to keep as many people from gegtting killed as I can."
Terra leaped back onto the now-sinwashed roof, her tail twitching. "See you there." And with that she disappeared.
