I know, I know, but I am right now feeling... annoyed at those Lord Talon. His darn pets are undefeatable! Well, it feels like that. And hints? Both my pets are higher level than them, and greatly to my annoyance, even when I copy their darn technique, they still kill me! It is driving me crazy. So, if you are like, oh, earth elemental pets defeat them easily, please let me know. Sorry if this was a waste of your time and the answer is 'train ur pets more.'

OK quick tips.
Ocean is Water, thus a tank, make sure she's in your first slot.
Both Water and Air elements are strength based elements so a lot of their equips are wrong (enhancing int). You'll need some Str/Dex for Greenfleck and some Str/Agi for Ocean. Missions are a good way to get them and make sure you get two accessories.
A Water/Air team doesn't sound to bad to me that is Tank to take hits (water) and a high damage dealer (Air).
> With a Water Tank, you'll probably want the prof point in either HP or Agi
> Evoker (Int/Dex) and Illusionist (Int/Agi) shouldn't be equipped to a Physical (Water/Air/Earth) element pet.
> Disciple equips are Eh and Uncommon equips are Terrible.
> Air pet, so the 1Str is fine
> No to all the equips though. Int/Dex would go on a Magical (Fire/Shadow/Light) pet, Arcanist is more for Int Mission pets, and as said above, Disciple is Eh and uncommon are Bad.
> Air pets want Myrmidon (Str/Dex) equips
> Try to fill all the equipment slots
> Higher rarity is better
> you could level up Cobalt (lv12/ Shadow/ 1HP/ no equips) to use as the Tank in the fight instead (equipped with Illusionist (Int/Agi) gear). Certainly not a requirement, just a possibility
> if you really need more help with them, you can read about the stats and abilities of and possible strategy against the vulnyx in the Sylestia Walkthrough (just wait for it to stop loading images and search "Thunder & Bolt".)
All elements have their favoured niches, their own strengths and weaknesses, it's just a matter of finding what works for you.
