It was a day like any other in the Northern Kingdom of Glorthan, with a bright clear sky looking down over a the vast green fields. Everything on the outside of the walls was calm, peaceful as the farmers worked to get the crops up for the on coming winter. Inside the wall though everyone was rushing about, putting up strings of flowers and lanterns to welcome in the new guests that would be arriving. King Cumulus had insisted that everything be decorated, that if the saviors of the land were to meet they would be met like royalty. Today was the day the others should arrive. A scout had been placed to watch for them a few days ago, he had returned that morning with news of their arrival. All the food was prepared, ready to be served that night at the fest. For the first time in a long time they had to prepare food for the carnivores, and though it wasn't meat it was other things such as cheese. The meeting place had been prepared as well, a dozen candles lighting each wall. The king was out in his balcony watching for any sign of their arrival.

All that morning the small rabbit had been hanging out with her partner Leif, trying to get to know him a bit better before the journey. Though they hadn't been told to help with the decorations she couldn't help but lend a hand to people less fortunate than herself. At the moment she was helping put up strands of flowers for an elderly pair of sheep. Balancing she stood atop Leif's antlers, tying off the strings. "A little to the left Leif, I'm almost done." She said not looking down.

The walk hadn't been as hard as he had thought, more of just a sight seeing trip. The bear looked over the flat lands, taking a deep breath of the fresh scent fill air. It was strange looking around and not seeing any hills, trees or even water. These lands were strange to him, just as it was strange to not be traveling alone. Abram looked over to the black panther that had been sent with him. He hadn't spoke with her much, just when they were first introduced. As for the group of omnivorous folk, he hadn't seen them yet but by the sent the southward wind blew up he knew they were a ways behind them.

Luna padded next to Abram. As she walked, her shoulder blades jutted out sharply. She hung her head low to the ground, as the sun burned into the small of her back. She stared straight ahead. God, why did her coat have to be black of all colors? These flat lands were becoming monotonous, and boring. Luna was used to the cool cover of a couple trees, and bushes. She squinted her eyes and twitched an ear, trying to keep herself in check. They were in a peaceful mission, and she couldnt let the scent omnivores set off her instincts.

Merlot walked with a strange sort of swagger as she glanced around at everyone around her. She was with the other hero from her land, a hedgehog who was called 'Amicus'. She wasn't in the mood to talk too much, which was unusual, especially for her. Under her russet and black fur rippled lithe muscles that helped her with her speed. Her mace, made of glinting, twisted black and red metal hung at her side, swinging as she walked.

Glorthan was similar to Themos- so far at least. The flat, mountain-like land at the outskirts reminded her of home. But here there were more people and more buildings. More things to steal, she thought with a chuckle. Farther ahead, she could spot blue and white towers spiraling upwards. Now, that is different.

The deer was glad to help decorate his home kingdom for the coming of the others that would be saving the land from darkness. He raised his eyes so he could see what Hazel was doing. By her instructions, he adjusted himself a little bit to the left. He hoped she was right about being "almost done". The rabbit had been standing on his antlers for well over ten minutes. "Good, because my antlers are starting to ache," he complained.

Amicus looked up at the fox that was his companion. Earlier in the journey, he had tabbed her as a thief, and he had not been wrong. He did nothing about it, though, not caring in the slightest. But he did keep close tabs on his belongings. He didn't know if she was one of those thieves, but he didn't want to discover this the hard way, even if his things were tiny like him. "Merlot, can you pick me up and carry me? I don't want to get trampled under all those sodden hooves."

"Thanks." Hazel said standing on her tip toes. "And...done!" With that she hopped down. "There you go ma'am!"
"Oh that's wonderful! Thank you two so much, I don't know what we would have done otherwise." The ewe said looking at the flowers.
"No problem ma'am! Just happy to help." Hazel said hugging the sheep. "Well we have to go, there are still lots of decorations to put up!" The rabbit said waving goodbye. She was surprisingly happy today, which wasn't normal for her. "I wonder how much longer we have until they get here..." she said looking around at the decoration she. It was beautiful! It was sad that she would be leaving it all soon.

The castle came up to meet them, shining and blue in the distance. It was very pretty, something that he hadn't thought he would see to be honest. As they approached, the many heads of the farmers popped up and whispers started to spread. "Look there they are!" Some said. "Are those the saviors?" Others answered. At the voices he simply ignored them before falling behin the cat, letting his tall broad shadow cast over her. He himself didn't mind the sun that much even if it was hot in his back, though he figured it was worse for her.

A large, refreshingly cool shadow was cast over Luna. She lifted her head slightly to the left, and looked at the bear. It was an odd creature, giving her its shadow like that... Back in Stryn, any bear wouldve let her stay in the heat. Unbeknownst to her, Lunas tail lifted slightly as her iridescent spots rippled over her shoulder blades. Around them, whispers and mumblings were passed from farmer to farmer. Luna put her head back down. She did not like the fact that the farmers were staring, and whispering things about them. Although her head was down, Luna swiveled and twitched her ears. The breathing of the pair of animals behind them and the bears filled Lunas head.

She tilted her head, her golden brown eyes glinting for a second. "Sure. Make sure your quills lay flat, though. If you poke me even a little bit I might just drop you," she said carelessly, but laughed after as she dropped down to pick up Amicus. "Alright."

Leif looked down at the little rabbit hopping along beside him. "I doubt they will take much longer. Obviously, though, our patience is being put to the test," he replied. He seemed very anxious and less calm than he usually was. He smiled softly as they got closer to the I destination. "There might be more lights to be strung up over the door of the guard's tower."

Amicus nodded in agreement. "I will do my best not to poke you with my quills," he replied. "But sometimes it just happens." He chuckled softly. He walked closer to the fox so she could lift him up. "If you want, you can place me upon your shoulder."

Lunas dagger paw twitched in the middle of a step. She shook it unconsiously and put it back down again. Luna was hungry, she hadnt eaten since leaving, and this put her in a bad mood. Her eyes flashed at the farmers, but they were only full of empty threats. Luna couldnt hurt them, not here, and not now.
