I'm interested in an rp based on a book series I read a long time ago- it's called The Naturals and its by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. You do not need to have read the book to join the rp! It's a private rp, and I'd like to rp with two other people.


P L O T

The Naturals are a group of teens who have strange abilities- they can read people in many different ways and their minds work in an impossibly strange fashion. Now, imagine this- someone calls you one day-

The FBI.

They want to meet you. Why? You're different. You're special. And you can save lives. The FBI needs you for the Naturals program, where a few young teens like yourself are in charge of solving cases.


R U L E S

1. Please write at least three sentences per post
2. Do not whine if this is closed.
3. All Sylestia Rules Apply.
4. Not adding any more spots or skills.
5. No Canon characters, but the skills will be the same. They can be similar to the Canon characters (for example I'm making another version of Dean Redding)
6. This rp features serial killers and crime solving in certain times! This is important. If you cannot handle this, please do not join. The scenes will not be described but the idea of killing will.
7. If you read the rules put the unscrambled version of ldCo sCae in your form.
8. No actual superhuman powers. Okay? Because these are just things that the Naturals are better at. Also pick the ability from the list below.
9. Put the unscrambled word from Rule No. 7 in the bottom of the 'Backstory' section.
10. Remember to include if they are new to the program or have been there for years now.
11. Follow all rules. Three strikes and you're out. ;)


S L O T S

Profiler (2 1 Male)
A natural at reading people. Piecing together the tiniest details, a profiler can tell you who you are and what you want. Profiles through BPEs (or behavior, personality, and environment). 'Slips' into the UNSUB's mind but says 'you' or 'I' instead.
Emotion Reader (1 Male)
The natural ability to look at a person's face and tell exactly what they feel at that moment. Usually develops when you need to sense anger in certain people. Knows how to trigger certain reactions in a person.
Deception Specialist (1 Female)
Dangerous and cunning. They can tell when a person is lying by their behavior. This also leads the Deception Specialists to be great liars themselves. Best with interrogating people, usually not on the actual crime scene.
Statistician (Female)
A whiz with numbers and stats. Literally can memorize anything and everything if it has something to do with numbers. However, this person is usually better with numbers and is not a people person even if they try. After a through investigation they can tell what happened, what tools it was done with, and for how long.

Name: Kehlani 'Lani' Griffin

Natural Ability: Deception Specialist
Backstory: Lani grew up in a world full of lies. Her father was a dangerous man who was the leader of a cult. Lani, a young child who was unaware of this, lived in this type of environment with her mother. Her mother would leave often with her father and she was left in the care of the members of the cult. She developed her ability more and more, as she needed to know who to trust and who she couldn't.
One day her mother broke. She was done. She told Kehlani they needed to run away. Lani, being only ten then, listened. They tried to escape but her father caught them. She was separated from her mother for years until the FBI found them. She is going to be new to the Naturals program.
Personality: Snarky and a skilled liar. Cunning. Seems to weave a web with her words, almost any lie she says sounds like the truth. She tries to hide her emotions most of the time.

Long, wavy blonde hair that falls to her waist. Periwinkle blue eyes. She's tiny, standing at around 5' 2''. Heart shaped face. Most of her wardrobe is with white clothes. She almost always has a crown of blue or white flowers in her hair.

Natural Ability: Profiler
Backstory: West seems to have one of the most traumatizing backstories you could imagine. His mother was a serial killer, and a talented one at that. His father had died when they were young, and his mother, out of anger, went after people who resembled her late husband.
West never knew until the FBI found his mother when he was nine. He has been in the Naturals program for seven years, since he was eleven. He's been bitter ever since- he never gets close to someone in the fear that he'll become a killer like Linda Copeland.
Personality: Seems angry almost always. Scared to let anyone near his heart in fear of hurting them, so he almost always pushes people away. Kind of quiet. Judges people... a lot.

He get very efficient at it. When his mom heard that if she turned jackmover to the FBI she could get money. She accepted the offer and gave Jack to them.

Cool accepted but make the backstory something else- for example the emotion reader from the original series is Michael Townsend. Here's his backstory:

Micheal comes from a rich family. His father is very abusive, and Michael learned his Natural Skill by predicting his fathers moods. Dealing with his father taught Michael that it was easier to make someone hit you, because then you knew what to expect, which was safer than having others take out their anger on him unexpectedly. Michael's father traded Michael to the FBI in exchange for immunity for white collar crimes.
