I'm stuck on the mission where you fight Cerith (bandit king or whatever he is)
ive chosen to fight him, but he keeps killing my pets. What do i do!?

and now, i wanna go back to negotiate, but i cant! So please, help!

Go back to Trollsblight Caverns and level up both of your party pets to LVL 20. Make sure you have matching gear.

Your party is Blue and Foxy...

1. Both Water and Earth are primarily Tanking elements (meaning they go best in the first party slot absorbing damage to keep their teammates safe.)

2. Only equip between them is the Newbie's Mundane Relic on Blue, which is Not A Very Good Equip.
Equipment is incredibly important, and relics make up a huge chunk of a pets ability to do damage.

3. Foxy's lv0 proficiency point is unassigned.

4. Probably at the least level Foxy up to about level 15 for fighting Cereth?


If we, say, decide that Foxy is to be the Tank pet, you'd want to maybe put the prof point into HP (or perhaps Agi), and equipped with Assassin (Str/Agi) gear, (As high of a rarity and as close of a level as you could. As a level 12, epic rarity and level 10 would be the best you could do, followed by rare lv10, epic lv5, and rare lv5)

Blue would thus be the Attacker, so the prof in Str is fine, but you's want Myrmidon (Str/Dex) gear. (He's level 17, so the highest level he can equip is lv15s)

I would say try waiting until you can expand your party to 3 slots.....fighting Cereth took me a lot of tries too :)

but... you can't do that? Both the first Cereth fight (in Fungus Grove), and the first fight against Cereth's pets, Thunder and Bolt (in Nightfall Bandit camp), happen before you get access to Sanctuary of Saerielle, which is the place you unlock the final party slot. You literally need to beat him to progress the plot to get there?

maybe try battling more somewhere else....and level up your pets?
