"Right, you want that, you get that. It's a simple solution, but we'll have to deal with his withdrawal afterwards, as from your words, I assume he's been drinking for a long time. None of that will be much of a big problem though." Alice smiles mysteriously. "When he becomes GOOD again, he can even help us out a bit."

"Can we see it?" Petal askes, clapping her hands in delight at the thought of exploring the docks

Isabella thinks about it and weighs out what she should do. Ultimately, she replies with, "I think we should ask your parents first. I don't want them wonderin' where we've gone if they come back here. If they say yes then we can go visit but we'll come back after, ok?"

She grumbles and thrusts the bread at you, you now have 11 pence left.

I remove the loaves from her hand and take a quick look at the list to see what the next item is, while mentally checking off the first two.



(I would say what the next item is but it's kinda hard to read the rest of them.)

"Four years now." Jane says, "How do you plan to keep him from his bottle?" she askes, giving a guttural laugh. "He's like a baby, always needing milk."

Isabella jumps a little at the strange hand and turns around to look at the man, "I'm sorry sir?"

She looks up with confused and innocent eyes, a strategy she uses if she gets caught, even though she doesn't know what she's done this time.

"Pheh. Who do you think I am? Why would I use such a useless method like that?" Alice smirks. "No, definitely not. I assume he still cares for you and your late mother, no? Where can I meet him?"

"Alright. Here's the plan. If he's there, chances are that he's drunk, and I don't want that. I want to meet up with him when he's sober. So, Jane, you seem to be the most capable of your group, so you stick with me. You know your group better than me, so I need you to pick out two of the fastest, most agile, and most silent and ready for reconnaissance kids. Once you pick them out, send them out to shadow your father, tell them to report back to us once they've gathered enough information about his daily activities. Without a doubt there must be at least one point in his days where he isn't drunk." Alice sets her hands on her hips. "The two have to be very careful and don't get found out lest problems happen. Jane, you can also pick out a third kid as messenger between us and the two if that works out better." She paused for a second to gather her thoughts before continuing, "the people left will stay with me and I'll find something for them to do. Sound good?
