When you switch a pet's element to another, does their expertise thing go down? I'm kinda scared to do this since I don't want it to go down.

they do not lose any gained expertise, but it does not carry over between elements.
So if you swapped a pet that has fire rank 2 fireball to shadow, it wouldn't have rank 2 force, but it would still have rank 2 fireball if you swapped it back to fire
