I've bought things at the scale shop before without too much trouble, but today I went to buy a lesser pet dye and it didn't appear in my inventory, but the 1000 scales were gone.
I actually went back to the shop and tried to buy another one and the same thing happened again!
I looked over every spot in my inventory to see if they may have stacked on another one I perhaps wasn't aware that I had, but I didn't find any lesser pet dyes anywhere!
I even checked on a pet page to see if it was in the list of usable philters, but it wasn't.

I didn't do anything especially unusual when I went to buy them, just: go to scale shop, +1, purchase, page loading, scales gone, go to inventory, no item.

I bought some items on the broker around the same time and those items arrived like usual.

Hm. Odd.

You had a stack of 4, but they were not in your actual Inventory for some reason.

I went ahead and threw it into slot 2 of your Inventory.

I think I know what happened!

I had a broker trade for I believe it was 2 lesser pet dyes expire recently and forgot about it in the mess of expired items.
(my equipment pages were too full to use the accept all button like I usually do, so I left these trades sitting until I could make some space)

I just ran across an interesting trade from system admin for four lesser pet dyes that had not been accepted yet.
I accepted it and they went into my inventory, now I have 8 total.

I believe the scale shop purchases actually stacked on this unaccepted trade!

I am only seeing the 4 Dyes under your items in the database. And I do not see that item ID duplicated in your Inventory.

I had put the first four on the broker before claiming the second four, I can take them down if you want.

I took them down and both sets appear to be there now.

Can you take a screenshot of your Inventory so I can see which specific items and which specific slots so I can find their ID #'s?

Of course.

Yea - they were the same item.

Just simply seems like whatever script sent the item to your Trades originally is not appropriately marking items in the DB as "in trades". So when I first investigated, I added them to your inventory thinking they were lost.

Then when you accepted your trade, it just simply added the same item to a new slot.

You should be good now.
